andrew13
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123051100709638419.html pretty interesting. i like how PA can't even get this right and join canada. however, i don't think the states will ever divide like that, since tenn and mass are about as far apart politically and socially as you can get. divaface
i think PA would be split down the middle with the western half going to canada and the eastern half going to the EU. they have wv, tn and ky all wrong. silly russians. lonesomexloveus
i'm not even so sure mexico can handle itself, let alone a whole 1/4 continent filled primarily with a lot of angry texans.

gravitylovesdrunks
i read this high last night at around 3am, but it seemed like nothing more than a well-played tactic by a jilted former super-power trying desperately to retake their position. the theory could plant seeds of doubt in a nation that hasn't seen struggles like these in over 70 years. i suppose it would be ignorant to ever deem something like this completely out of the realm of possibility, however it just seems too ridiculously obvious that these predictions are meant more for russia than they are for the states. the guy has a fucking map on his wall of alaska joined with russia. i'd be more apt to speculate harder if an american theorist/professor was saying this. mcm1610
That's laughable. At the first sign of trouble, all of Western New York will jump ship instantly to Canada, but he has us becoming Euros.

goraiders
totally ridiculous. I don't know how a civil war (not like that is happening) would break the u.s. up into six different parts which immediately jump into the arms of a foreign country that we don't like (depending on which part). that being said california republic sounds great

andrew13
i don't think from what that was saying was they became a part of them, they became under their influence. kinda like South Korea is under US influence at this moment or Taiwan is.
