adamlikesmusic
If he has 400 copies on hand, 800 total copies, and 525 are numbered, some of them are numbered. First come, first serve is my guess. And I wasn't sure if they weren't numbered, or if they were numbered above the original. (Like 600/525, 601/525, etc.)
counterfiction
don't get me wrong, i'm interested in the record. just not $40 interested.
adammuzzy
the /525 wasn't printed on the records, so i'm just guessing they didn't bother doing it with the ""second"" presses of it.
kirbypuckett
I'm gonna laugh when his eBay account gets shutdown for charging so much on shipping. All it takes is one or two people to complain and eBay will look into it.
jawbroken
regardless, go var!
counterfiction
he should have just put $40 with free shipping. i thin he would have sold more copies with less bitching.

actiondan
jesus, thats out of fucking control 20 to ship a lp. what the fuck.
xxmartinxx
Good idea, POOR execution. Paypal costs are 3%, eBay is maybe 5% at the most. That's less than 2 bucks a record. Shipping media mail will be less than $5. Why not charge $30 a record and $7 shipping and not make it seem totally shady? Var is being greedy, too. It just kinda sucks. rtw88
I don't understand why everyone is bitching. It would cost you 20 dollars to go to the show and 20 to buy the record, that's not including airfare etc if you don't live there. He's doing everyone a favor. Who cares whether he charges 20 for the record and 20 for shipping or 40 for the record with free shipping. Same shit.
cadetapplesauce
if they're not numbered then i think that seriously takes away the attractiveness of it.
patron
if they're not numbered then i think that seriously takes away the attractiveness of it. I know what you mean, but there will be people who will buy both copies, just to have both variants. That being said, there will probably also be someone who buys an unnumbered one and writes a number on it if people will pay more for those ones. xxmartinxx
My thought is, the numbered one is still going to be rare. The unnumbered one will actually be MORE rare. Weird.
xxmartinxx
PS - I don't think a record that was pressed this year of 1000 copies is "rare" at all.

I know what you mean, but there will be people who will buy both copies, just to have both variants. definitely. but people are just paying $28 for a cover. it's not like he was charging that much more for that glass and ashes fest pressing. i know i'd rather pay $40 for something straight up, as opposed to $20 for a record and $20 to ship it. kudos to var though. One could actually say that the unnumbered one is /275.
eddieruckus
I think this is an excellent idea, if you cant get to one of the shows 40 bucks shouldnt be a big deal, this may be the only time these will be this easily available
forgeagain
There's no way this band didn't get back together specifically for the money.
311thrice
I wonder why he didn't just put them in the No Idea store?
jhulud
I wonder why he didn't just put them in the No Idea store? Would have made more sense...
kirbypuckett
I wonder why he didn't just put them in the No Idea store? Would have made more sense... So when people are searching on eBay for the record they see this instead. That's what I thought right away.
xxmartinxx
I wonder why he didn't just put them in the No Idea store? Because people are looking for them on eBay and paying $400 there... not the website.
monk0nuggets
It says in the listing that they plan to do that if there are left overs (which it sounds like there has to be), but it was probably easier to do it through ebay and also make it more visible to the scalpers.
