illusionofchris
Im sure there has already been a thread like this. But what is your favorite live show you have been to? Mine is either Sigur Ros at the Hollywood Bowl in 2006 or Converge in a small club in Knoxville in 2008. Both bands shows were flawless. I dont know if those will ever be topped for me. I get a warm fuzzy feeling everytime i think of those two shows.

casey
Oh yeah, Mastodon played that show with Converge i mentioned. I wasn't really into them at the time but they put on a great show. Mastodon played with Clutch when I saw them. I never got into Clutch but they put on a good show. The show was at a little venue called the Social and I new then Mastodon probably wouldn't be playing anywhere like that for much longer. Besides all the twat bombs trying to mosh around in their parachute pants, it was fucking amazing.
lokithelion
Springsteen. Hit after fucking hit, 10 songs of requests (!) and clash and pogues covers. closely followed by Sunny Day Real Estate/No Knife in atlanta when I didn't know who either band was or Blood Brothers/Letter Organize in Atlanta at MJQ. Tiny room right after Burn came out. Got to do all the hand clap parts by clapping my hands against Cody's. Was pretty awesome. The show was packed and the dancing was brutal. manicdogbert
Sigur Ros at the Berkeley Greek Theater, 2008. It started raining right at the build up during Popplaggio. My Bloody Valentine at the Santa Monica Civic, 2008. The loudest show I've been to. Mogwai at the El Rey Theater in 2001, the second loudest show I've attended. mclz
Hard to say, but the last Ergs! was probably the most fun. Performance wise, the greatest band I've ever seen was The Living End.
Snaggle Von Swift
Get Up Kids at the Electric Factory & Starland Ballroom (4th & 3rd final shows before the 'breakup'), and then the Get Up Kids at Indiana University (3rd show back) earlier this year. casey
I gotta say Propagandhi either at Harvest of Hope Fest . That was a great fucking set. Usually I don't count festival shows in favorites, but that one is an exception.

edgefest
The Draft / Dead To Me / Gaslight Anthem @ The Jackpot in Lawrence, KS in Late 2007 I believe. The Get Up Kids @ Liberty Hall in Lawrence, KS earlier this year Coalesce @ The Granada in LAwrence, KS 2005... split my knee open over someone's head stage diving.
