podface Posted June 12, 2009 Share Posted June 12, 2009 this idea was obviously influenced by the other movie thread going on right now... but i'm talking about movies that have every reason to be total trash but you end up loving. and im not just talking about super corny action flicks that are awesome just cause theyre super corny. my two guilty pleasures are both kinda lumped in the same category: clueless and can't hardly wait. they're both formulaic and cheesy and.. ya know, high school comedies.. but they're also both humorous, clever, and very fun to watch. and i hated high school. anything else? I love the '90s wave of teenage horror flicks like Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer. Generally, I also love high school melodrama and any high school or college sports movie.
