casey
Unless Ted Leo releases a reggae album this year, Propagandhi - Supporting Caste will easily be my #1 for the year Really? Because I thought the reggae track on Living With the Living was one of the weakest ones on that album. The Rapid Response EP from last year was stellar, however. It's got a folksy edge to it. I've never heard Ryan Adams' music so I don't know if he had any influence on her when recording it. There are still a couple of "poppy" parts on some songs but overall, it's definitely a completely different sound than anyone would expect.
