Police bust nude coffee servers NSFW

Recommended Posts

From the Stranger (my favorite part of Seattle):

Police officers in Everett, Washington decided that the best way to spend their time—and spend taxpayers' dough—was cracking down on the perverted, nasty, please-don't-make-them-see-it phenomenon of mostly naked women serving drive-through coffee. It was a tough assignment, but they prevailed. To prove that the women at Grab-n-Go Espresso were straddling the sill of the to-go window while wearing panties without crotches, licking whipped cream off of one another, and otherwise exposing their nether-parts to men, officers—naturally—had to take pictures. Officials have charged the women, who are scheduled for a hearing January 11, with prostitution.

Reluctantly, officers released those photos yesterday, pursuant to a public records request by the Everett Herald, but the staff at the Everett Herald had the good taste not to run those pictures. Fortunately, we don't have that good taste here at The Stranger. And while we don't really want nether-bits whipping around our open coffee cups (maybe just a health-code violation is in order), we think it's a poor use of law-enforcement resources to repeatedly send officers day-in, day-out to photograph women's nether-bits, just to charge them with misdemeanors. At that point, a cop is a pornographer, right? So we're posting them here, on Slog, your reaching-for-the-gutter hometown blog, because if you're paying for pornographers, then you're paying to see the pornography.

I've seen this place on Travel Channel - They wear bikinis and outfits all day and bring in almost a grand in tips everyday. Apparently that's not good enough for some of those girls. Insane.

One of those moved into the town next to mine, and the religious zelots ended up burning it down, unbeknownst to them, it was attached to an appartment uptop by the man who owned it, and his baby died in the fire.

I'm pretty sure I read about this in the news, assuming it happened last year. (If not, it was another coffee shop, but similar situation)

Very well could be, it did make national news, and Letterman cracked a joke about it as well. Sadly the man didnt have any insurance on it so he lost all his money in the company when it burned. Im still trying to figure out why God says having your coffee and donut brought to you by a topless woman or man is wrong, but burning down a business and killing a baby is right. God works in mysterious ways

Where did you read about a baby getting killed. I read a bunch of articles about this just now because it was so outraging, but none of them made any mention of a baby dying, and one even mentioned that all six people at the attached motel were okay. I mean it's still fucked up and ridiculous that someone would do it, but it seems kind ironic to play the 'killing babies' card. You could be right, but it seems to me like something that would have been mentioned in the articles.
