I remember reading something he said a while back about being bored with the guitar and taking it as far as the instrument could be taken. Later I heard him explain what was considered "poor production on the Zawn album (as the critics say, I never heard it) as his attempt to make the album as loud and large as possible and if you don't like the awful levels and fuzz all over the album, it's your fault. I wanted to choke him then and there. As someone who has been past his peak for 10+ years this is very funny to me.
