It wasn't great, but it wasn't awful.

+Sarah Palin TV channel

+Teacher/Justin Bieber sketch (a bit long though)

+Weekend Update (Devil, 102 year old student, there were some good lines)

+/- I've heard worse musical guests and that song is stupidly catchy

To be fair I still have about a half hour to go.

I don't know how this show is still on.

Because SNL is one of the few shows that can exist with a completely different cast and crew. I think they figure if they ride out the bad, whether it's cast or writers, it has the chance to be really good when some contracts end.

Maybe the comedy is just so far ahead of its time that we don't get it yet...

Even though I can't tell if you're joking or not, and as much as I don't think this is true, I know that some of my favorite cast lines were absolutely hated when they were current.
