skanknsmile
So, I'm trying to compile a list of record pressings that have had defects, such as pressing mishaps, color inversions and the like. The only one coming to mind to me right now is the Lucero "Nobody's Darlings" mistake. Anyone else have a good list of notable records? Cheers! apeman
Some copies of the recent Beastie Boys - 'Ill Communication' reissue have the b-side twice...where it should be and the again where the d-side should have been.

hickey
There's an Agnostic Front 7" on B9 (For My Family) that has the same songs stamped on both sides. Same thing with an earlier pressing of NOFX's The PMRC Can Suck On This 7"
suicidemachine
Rehaser - Off key Melodies have a couple with two B side labels Wasn't there also an error pressing of an Against Me! 7 inch too?
jemsklile
I have American Nightmare's "Background Music" but for some reason it says Give up the Ghost where it should say American Nightmare. :/
rockstar71888
I've got "Systematic Chaos" by Dream Theater. I'm sure it was the same error on every record, but one song is on there twice (side D by itself, and second half of side C), and there is another track that is missing completely (supposed to be on side D)
mxv
I have a 7 Seconds - Walk Together first press where the A side is on both sides. I have a Grim/Dr. Know mispress on mystic where the grim record had one side of a dr know record on the b side.
flood
2 of the NOFX 7otm club have variants with the wrong labels. its probably an impossible task to list these.. theres soo many oddities in records, just based on the way they're made. I know a handful of records i put out came out with wrong color combos due to plant mistakes
One Hundred Fifty-Two
Dude ranch AFS version wrong color Alkaline Trio - Help me (Two A side labels) Saves The Day - Freakish - (Two A side Labels) Thrice - Beggars (Incorrect Track Listing) CEREMONY Still Nothing Moves You LP (Black Vinyl) Limited to: 500 The first plates for this LP were rejected because one of the songs was cut onto the wrong side. The sound was fine - and because the band wanted to have copies to sell at the '08 Sound & Fury festival, we went ahead and pressed 500 copies w/ blank labels on black vinyl for them to sell on tour (we didn't have time to get a new set of tests before the fest). All future pressings have the correct side break. And honestly you are wasting your time, there are a ton.

And Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit German picture disc had some copies with a Rolling Stones song pressed on the b-side for some reason...
