people are nuts.. most gifts suck because once you're an adult you generally just buy what you want, and most people don't know you well enough to actually get you something cool.

This is where I stand. Gift giving is more hassle than its worth most of the time.

I'll back up on my anti-gift-card rant earlier and say that gift cards to restaurants / food places are acceptable because you can't really buy someone a meal and expect it to last.

But I stand by my over-the-top emotions against your average retail store gift card.

oscar mayer has a way with b-o-l-o-g-n-a.

saw guttermouth at the rat with ten foot pole and one hit wonder.

Yeah... That tour came to St. Louis after a show in Colorado. Guttermouth skipped St. Louis to hang out and snowboard for another day. Ten Foot Pole cussed at the crowd all night to try and make up for Guttermouth not being there. Just not the same.

I'm gonna break this down in the terms of a work Christmas bonus/present

one year we got cash

next year was visa gift cards

last year was Applebee's gift cards

the Applebee's giftcards I got were 4 $10 freebies from when you bought a $50 card you got a free $10 one. I don't care for Applebee's and the cards could only be used one at a time and expired by 2/28. so, 2 months to try to eat at Applebee's 4 times...didn't even go once so they went to waste. I forgot about them and should have given them to anyone that would have used them.

it felt like a bs bonus for a company that didn't give us a Christmas party and the owner took his family to Mexico for the holiday.

moral of the story, C.R.E.A.M.

I saw that tour too! Something like September 1997, right? Apocalypse Hoboken also played the date I went to, since it was in Illinois.

went to the show here in seattle as well. Bought a couple one hit wonder 7 inchers. Mark got naked that night and some chick rubbed bagbalm powder all over his nuts. I have a picture somewhere, lol. Crazy show!
