They're responsible for every ugly splatter record, and their records sound like ASS. I don't know how anyone can say otherwise, every colored Pirate's record I own has a very noticeable amount of surface noise. My half red/half black Austin Lucas LP goes from [nothing....] to HISSSSSSSS in the space between songs when the needle hits the red half. Oh, and their labels look like they're printed using the inkjet printer you get for free with a computer. Basically, they put form over function, and the forms they put it in are ugly.
