"Dallas" - as in the place where Sky Eats Airplane made their start (for the most part) "venues" - the places they played musical shows at. what i meant was, dallas is dead as far as venues go, now. bronco bowl is gone, galaxy club is gone, blind lemon is gone, moontunes is gone, gypsy tea room is gone... i think the only thing left besides bars and arenas is The Door and thats like 90% christian. deep ellum took a shit. ahhhhh yeah fo sho. i usually only go to shows in austin/houston but been to the door and trees. yeah not much of a scene left in dallas, that i know of. Far -- "Water & Solutions" (love all of Jonah's other stuff...but as far as this band is concerned) this is just bizarre to me. have you heard Tin Cans With Strings To You or Quick? i can see if you're only heard Water & Solutions and At Night We Live, but not if you've heard everything before Water & Solutions. the used - usedalien ant farm - ANThology i'll agree with The Used. it's the only album of theirs i can listen to. have you heard AAF's Greatest Hits? it's a misleading title as it's their first album but it's easily my favorite of theirs. ANThology was decent too. the ones after were a little weak. Rentals - return of... seriously? Seven More Minutes was pretty damn good too.
