RSD on SRC

Recommended Posts

they aren't the only ones there is a shop in Columbus that went out of business last year & is strictly online sales now. yet they are doing rsd this year. not everyone can make it out or even has a store near them it's inevitable people are going to flip these so I would rather people have a shot buying them online. it's a shit situation and rsd in general has turned into a pile of shit.

If that shop name is Time Traveler, they were just outed on the RSD facebook page for selling stuff on Ebay early. Looks like the RSD police is really out in full force this year. If I owned SRC, I'd probably rethink the strategy of selling RSD items online.

Nice! I'll be refreshing SRC page.

RSD politics ended my Record Store Day. A local to me small time audiophile record website (that does record fairs on a monthly basis) did RSD at a local church last year. Can't do RSD 2011 this year. NOT a actual record shop! Got threatened with a lawsuit and everything! Sucks.

I've been to that place before. Place sucks. It's right next door to the place I buy comics at.

Record Store Day took down SRC from their site, there is justice.

... So SRC is or isn't having 30 RSD exclusives, now?

No doubt they already HAVE the physical copies, so if we don't see these go up Saturday then they will just go up Sunday when everyone else is allowed to put them online

so what's with DEATHWISH being able to do it? ren't they technically a distro too? or the fact that they are a open house that one day technically give them a pass? not wanting to butt heads here. just kinda wonderin' as i know there could be tons of excuses (like totally being up front of their intentions and the fact that none of the stuff will actually be online that day but for physical purchase). just seems that allowing a distro to do it once, can lead to any distro doing it in the future out of their house.
