I don't mind waiting a bit of extra time because DA records are always amazing. I got a 7"* recently and the packaging and even the record were not very nice. If I were running a label I would account for the increase in delays due to increase in demand...Just set every release date back by 2-3 weeks to account for any delays...then when people get theirs a few weeks earlier if it isnt delayed, BANG! But yes, the shipping made this super high in cost, but its from Canada...so again cant complain! Label or band doesn't control shipping rates!!! Don't bitch at the label, when it's probably down to the pressing plant. In regards to shipping, call me crazy, but City And Colour has quite a few fans in the states and whoever handles his distribution should be able to account for that not and not pass the bill along to us. There are plenty of artists from outside the states who's music I can get without actually having to get it from the area the artist lives in, that's just good distribution and with an artist on City And Colour's scale we should be able to get the record from more than one place.
