sgoodcore
That was amazing. Fleury was absolutely stellar and I love Sykora calling his shot. That was an absolute lazer to the top shelf. Great game all around from the Pens. We'll see how the Wings come out in Pittsburgh for game 6. It'll be interesting to see if they're feeling any ill effects from the long game. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
great game(what I saw of it). I missed the second period. What exactly happened to Gonchar? jumped head-first into the boards behind the net to avoid a penalty at the end of the 3rd period. of regulation. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
he set up the game winning goal in the 3rd OT, he was out rest of the 3rd and 1st two OT periods and all but the last 30 seconds of the game during the double minor PP
ronniethebear
Hopefully he and Malone will be able to play Game 6. Malone looked like a train hit him after that shot to the face. What a tough motherfucker coming back after that though. If he's in for next game, I bet he'll have the face cage like Robidas had.
suburbanargyle
Fleury was awesome. Unbelievable. I am glad though that the Pens scored after an actual penalty, because those 2 goaltender interference calls were pretty bogus. Malone coming back with that disfigured face...what a tough dude. FTW. both goalies played awesome, people are just heaping praise on fluery cause he won, that game could have gone either way. that, and he DID stop 55 out of 58 shots, where osgood only stopped 28 of 33 shots. I mean, no one was going to praise him really if they lost last night, detroit would have been hoisting the Cup and the Pens would have been in their shadow on the ice. For any pens fans, Alex Golgiloski got called up from AHL 2 nights ago, so we might see him tomorrow night in game 6 if any defensive player isnt cleared to play.
