Really tight pop-punk/melodic hardcore -- think Alkaline Trio, the Broadways and Face To Face. I saw this band dozens of times growing up, and they were always a blast. If you like any of the bands I mentioned earlier, download this. Their singer/guitarist, PJ, is currently in a new band called the Moment; their bassist Paul joined the Ghost and played on This Pen Is A Weapon before that band broke up; and their drummer, Steve, did some time in the Reputation before slinging merch for Minus The Bear on tour in 2007. This is their second album; it features Scott Schoenbeck on bass (pre-the Promise Ring/Dashboard Confessional). Mark Dawursk (pre-Hey Mercedes) was also in this band for a spell, but not on this record in particular. It was produced by Bill Stevenson and Stephen Egerton at the Blasting Room.
