This year we're flying to Gainesville since the difference in cost for flying there was about the same as the cost of cab rides to/from Gainesville and Tampa or Jax were last year (we're both 21, so no rental car). I think it was $140 one way and $180 the other last year, with the more expensive one being in the middle of the night. We're leaving Phoenix at like 11pm Thursday, and arriving in Gainesville at 11am Friday. Then we leave Monday morning at 5am, and get back to Phoenix at 11am to play catch-up on my usual Monday routine. I can't sleep on an airplane to save my life, so it should be a good time.
