exitenglish1208
i used to think even if it kills me was pretty shit but i got into it after a while. dinosaur was solid, but i am the movie and commit this to memory are almost perfect, i doubt they'll top them. either way i'm really, really excited for this record
beardacus
One of very few bands I can truly say I like every song off of every album. No songs I would skip. This. I pretty much have this attitude with everything Justin Pierre does.
evilgerald
Excited for this. All the bands I got into years ago seem to be getting progressively worse. But MCS just keep releasing such solid albums.

scottheisel
i can understand not feeling "even" as a whole, but "fell in love without you," "this is for real," and "broken heart" are three of the best songs the've ever done. i just don't get how of a fan of the band could trash the whole record like there's nothing worthwhile on there. "This Is For Real" is just a simplified version of "The Future Freaks Me Out," though, and that has always bothered me. MCS is too smart of a band to rehash their past successes. AlexH.
So they're back on Epitaph, then. I guess they realized, like every mid-sized band that signs to a major label, that it's not worth moving from a large indie that supports you to a major that mostly does the same thing but takes a bigger chunk of your royalty check for "marketing expenses". zacaroo21
New track up on Rolling Stone: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/exclusive-stream-motion-city-soundtracks-perky-true-romance-20120416
Snaggle Von Swift
http://www.kingsroadmerch.com/epitaph-records/artist/?id=45 sucks you can't get the swirl vinyl alone, but the one bundle of the record and t-shirt for $24.99 isn't so bad price wise. drewberinger
I am guessing this will have a Hot Topic exclusive also. I want to hear this thing before buying. maybe. the last two Epitaph releases this year (ETID and Menzingers) didn't have exclusive colors for Hot Topic, they just had the black variant. This could be the case with MCS as well.
drewberinger
anyways, I went ahead and pre-ordered the grey swirl, really like the new song.
derby625
I also pre-ordered the gray swirl (along with the Operation Ivy represses on red). I just got an email with a link to download the album but I'm at work and don't want to waste my code. Does anyone know if it is in fact the album or just the new song? I'll test it when I get home in a couple of hours.

Snaggle Von Swift
Almost shit myself when I got the e-mail to download the 'digital album', pretty bummed, (but makes sense) that it's only the single.
larry47591
Ok placed an order. They put up some Even If It Kills Me lp's be wanting to get it for a while and it was only 10.
thomasj182
I hate these long ass pre-orders, not too keen on the new single either. Wasn't there talk of a 7 inch series a few months back? Anyone know what happened with that?
