krisakarcher
I've gotten my money back. Just ask for it instead of store credit.
ijux
i've now received 2 copies of this from topspin, both with side-D really messed up soundwise....its muddy, fades in and out all the time and is really unlistenable... anyone else have the same problem, or have i just been extremely unlucky with my copies?? As soon as the plant who pressed them is done shipping out all their orders, Circa is gonna rip them a new one. Did you order two or did they just send two? Sorry to hear about the D-sides, and I'm sure if you got up with Colin, or talked to them at a show, they'd find a way to make it right, like they did with the CDs, and the lithos. ijux
hi there i contacted topspin, and they sent me a replacement right away... but like my previous post says... i was damn unlucky, haha hope they tour Norway sometime soon then
kforkevin777
That must've been insane shipping.
scottheisel
Does anyone know if they take credit cards at their merch table? The tour plays Cleveland tomorrow night and I wanted to know if I should hit the ATM beforehand or not.
Juturna90
When I went to the show in salt lake last week they did take credit cards
kforkevin777
A lot of major bands are starting to take credit cards now, so I'd guess so.
noodle
chicago, yes. my brother dropped about 150 in merch.

noodle
that was also o'brother stuff and b/c items as well. is that a surprise...coming from the guy who dished out 750 for circa alone?
noodle
which i must say... never listened to o'brother, balance and composure, OR touche. aside from circa, i'd rank them to my liking (based on performance alone) as o'brother / balance and composure / and touche. definitely will check out o'brother, probably balance and composure, and not too likely touche. overall, a great concert. kforkevin777
I've never spent more than $40 or $50 in merch at a show. Haha. But I really dig B&C and Touché. I really just don't like O'Brother. They were interesting live, but their music bores me.
kevin848
I'm here to say that O'Brother is awesome.
seamoney
I'm here to say Balance and Composure is the best band and o'brother is pretty close. My date got cancelled because Anthony flew home and checked himself into the hospital, but o'brother, Balance, and Touché played a show in Detroit which was a blast. I love Circa but I've seen them a few times and didn't mind a shorter drive and a cheaper door price to see my favorite bands play longer sets. Though, I'm bummed I didn't get to see "Birth of the Economic Hitman" live and pick up a copy of the record.
jonnystorm777
I am going to their show tomorrow. Anyone know what Vinyl they will have at the merch table?

noodle
yeah...it was at our show in CHI which is was shortened. quite the bummer. i do not think that he hurt himself at the show, rather aggravated . regardless... was a great show. to each their own on musical taste. i'm not here to pick fights. i liked those two bands. so many people were into touche. definitely a band you can sing and scream along with. and birth of economic hitman was really cool to hear. you'll have your chance again. couple pics in the links. at the venue (The Vic), there are tiered levels. I was standing on the first tier with a bar in front of me, so i had nobody obstructing the view and nobody pushing. decent quality for the iphone. nothing professional. noodle
Whut? Why'd he check into a hospital? cracked rib. didn't know it at the time though. thought he was having chest problems/heart attack. during the set, he said he forgot to take his cat nap. gumbercules
I'm too lazy to back through 35 pages, but I picked this record up at a local store today. It sounds really, really bad. Just constant surface noise throughout the whole thing and a lot of compression on the louder parts.
kforkevin777
I don't understand why so many of these sound bad. My copy sounds flawless. The plant really fucked this up. No wonder the band is so pissed.
gumbercules
I did go back and see a few others mentioning bad pressings. Mine's mostly Side B, which is pretty awful. Side A was a little noisy, but not too bad. C and D are actually fine. I don't know if I should bother trying replace it or not.
Juturna90
I thight my copy sounded great through out. A lot of people mentioned the c side being worst I think. Sounds like they have been doing replacements for people.
andrewlucas
Somebody listed one. Comes with other circa records but still... Just juturna and on letting go is worth at least $200, painted vinyl probably another $200. http://bit.ly/QdOTSl We'll see. Oh, and remember how I sold my box for $150? Somebody had one up on eBay, sold for $12. NEVER start an auction at .99 if the item is worth a lot more than that.
