LIGMA_BALLZ
Never heard of this band before but Pitchfork gave it a BNM so I checked it out. This band is an awesome mix of shoegaze and pop. There's a stream of the album over on stereogum, and a limited version of the LP over at capture tracks. http://capturedtrack...ted-edition-lp/
enjoyadrian
while i do love and buy a majority of what captured tracks puts out, they sure do take their sweet ass time sending out records.

eskimoswim
every time i buy a record from captured tracks i only end up listening to it a few times because all of their bands are extremely repetitive. i mean could listen to DIIV, or i could just listen to some old shoegaze bands instead. nelso330
been following this band from their beginning as DIVE....they are solid...spin off from beach fossils (which yes, are quite repetitive) this side project is way better! more jammy..... Capture tracks is slow at times, but always takes care of you....I've had several times, where I got the NON-Limited version, and they mailed me the right one, right away at no extra cost. (happen 3 times actually lol, interns working the packing = bad idea) LIGMA_BALLZ

jhulud
I just started getting into some of the bands on Captured Tracks' roster. Damn, some great shoegaze and indie pop. If anyone doesn't want their DIIV - Oshen LP limited edition, hit me up. We can work something out.

cwhitmuzik
Well I interviewed them and they were nice and then they put on a good set so you know differing opinions and stuff

Derek™
Oshin is a great album, indeed. Glad to see more people recognizing that.

paralyticstalks
I would offer my ltd copy but I honestly don't think I could ever let it go. DIIV is one of my favorite bands ever. I saw them open for Wild Nothing last September and talked to the guys in the band for about an hour afterwards. One of the more down-to-earth groups I've met. Cole and I were taking pictures of our nails that we painted, etc.
FactoryRecords
Saw them in ATL with Wild Nothing, and in NYC when I played CMJ. They're good on the record, but even better live. Their heaviest influence is Neu!, so if you like experimental/jammy/krautrock bands, you'll like them.
jhulud
I'm sure it'll be a stretch but I hope they have copies when I see them with HTDA in Boston.
Guest
also a stretch, grab me one if they do?
Derek™
What aspect will be a stretch? They may have copies of the Oshin LP, but there's absolutely no way there'll be any limited editions left. Those suckers are long gone, and are only available for a pretty penny on Discogs. FactoryRecords
paralyticstalks
They were out of ltd edition copies back in September when I saw them. BUT (thanks to tumblr), I found someone who is selling theirs for pretty cheap compared to what other people want them for and I'd totally get on it. http://yubey.storenvy.com/products/1284357-diiv-oshin Derek™
