pushbacktosquare
I saw somewhere that the back to black pressing of the blue album is /500? Can anyone confirm this?
searos
The plan is to have MoFi pressings of everything up to (and including) Make Believe, so the Green Album should be coming soon. Sweet. I am not a fan of the Red Album at all but besides that they seem to be pressing all the good ones. I already own Pinkerton but will probably get Green, Make Believe, and Maladroit. nivek87
almost picked this up at the store down the street, but just couldn't do the $28 price tag.

eezy
My buddy and I were at one of our local shops a few days ago and they had both the mobile fidelity and the back to black. He bought the mofi and was extremely happy about it upon listening to the album. Plus, I think the mofi is numbered /3000.
searos
Red Album is post-Make Believe so according to the rumor, it will not be getting the MoFi treatment. Oh I forgot that. For some reason I thought it came after Make Believe. Well then will be picking these all up. Make Believe gets lukewarm reviews but I loved that one. It reminded me more of pinkerton era and Perfect Situation is one of Weezer's best songs.

But yeah I'm all for this. Will pick up at least Pinkerton for sure. I like everything else up to and including Make Believe, but I'm not sure I need them on vinyl. kidamnesiac
Those who picked up The Lion And The Witch, is it uncensored? Does it have the full "Scott just won a Grammy" speech at the end of Holiday?
chipfondoo
Thanks for any info, Travis. The last import pressing of this was lackluster and had the same price point. Amazon is also listing Mechanical Animals from Universal UK as well. Any info on that or a US press would be welcome. Nice, I got the og. Now let's see holywood and antichrist. Does it have the full "Scott just won a Grammy" speech at the end of Holiday? "Holy frickin cow, that was nobel frickin quality there, Scott just won a Grammy" [cuts out shortly after] Just heard that at the end of side
kidamnesiac
Yeah, there's about 30 seconds of an acceptance speech Rivers gives after "Scott just won a Grammy" that was cut accidentally from the CD release also. The band originally put the uncut version up for download back in the day, but it's disappointing that they didn't take this chance to fix things. There was also censored profanity on the CD release that I was hoping would be uncensored for this. I think it was in the stage banter after Falling For You. Rivers says, "Yeeeah we didn't f-ck it up!" Is it still censored?

kevinshumway
where did you hear this? Weezer's official site. MFSL will ultimately be releasing all of the early albums up to and including Make Believe, on glorious 180 gram vinyl, remastered specifically for vinyl and pressed at the best pressing facility in the world, RTI. kidamnesiac
it's censored. booooo Too bad. I probably would have been interested in picking it up had they included the full Grammy speech and uncensored the stage banter.
