No, no, no. Facts do not matter and lots of people interpet so-called "facts" depending on the delivery. Perception is reality.

Most argue like cavemen (or pundits): D good, R bad or vice versa.

I have a slight problem with the use of fact checkers. Does anyone on this board actually check facts? Does anyone sift through raw data and run analysis on it to come up with their own figures? We all hear/see/read information for sources that are supposed to do this for us (not that they aren't just recycling other people's findings as well). Ordinary citizens don't have the time or resources to compile this information so we are at the mercy of the media to provide it to us.

Watching these debates are absolutely mind blowing from a Canadian perspective. Especially when it comes to health care, you'd think this was the 1940's.

As a Canadian I agree 100% the weirdest thing about moving to the states was not having free healthcare, and actually having to pay to go to an emergency room...
