kidamnesiac
With how long it took to get these represses out, I wouldnt be expecting those Mono reissues any time soon I seriously hope you're wrong.
degenerex
I'm 2 records in and I don't regret this at all. This is my new favorite possession.
travis
I seriously hope you're wrong. Well the vinyl was originally supposed to come out at the same time as all those remastered CDs like 3 years ago
timsimmons
Apple Corp. expectations or fans expectations? Because I remember interviews after the reissues saying they need to go back to do the vinyl separately so people at least thought a year + was in the cards. If I were a betting man, I'd say RSD or this time next year for Mono.

Or when the mono box is released, hopefully these will go down in price.

heypeterman
I just ordered all of the individual releases, came out to just over $250. I couldn't justify the extra $70 for the box although I really love box sets...

heypeterman
and the 250 page book Yeah, I know I'm trying not to think about it. Box sets look so great in a collection too!
heypeterman
Not looking so good... http://www.amazon.co...howViewpoints=0 I read those but for me, I only own Abbey Road and it's not in great shape. I paid about $18 per album for these. I couldn't find a decent used copy of any of these albums for that cheap.
monsterrod
Temporary Residence Limited posted this with the link. I think they make valid points. "Note to record labels: NEVER boast the painstaking attention to detail you endured in the mastering and manufacturing process of a very expensive vinyl box set - you're just asking for enraged customers to throw shade until they're blue in the face. Regardless of where they pressed these, they're playing with fire to manufacture 50,000 copies of something that is meant to be a super deluxe, boutique item. The quality control is a total crap shoot after about 5,000 copies of something like this. Not to mention they pressed these at two different plants simultaneously, so the quality isn't even consistent from record-to-record within the set." Guest
Was just going to post that too. The amazon reviews they linked to are horrid.

jonnystorm777
I just came across 14 vintage beatles albums in amazing condition. almost the whole collection. I think I may sell them as a collection.
markok
Does anyone have any information on the differences between the records which were pressed in USA vs Europe. I see that one reviewer mentioned on amazon that european pressing is "better" and I quote: "...European manufactured pressing appear to be outstanding!" I have the USA version and some of the records are warped and at least half of them are scuffed or with some weird residue which wont come off with cleaning. WTF?
