I almost feel like it's a chore to watch it now and I hold out on every episode until the last minute. Maybe I just expected THE ASYLUM to to super fucked up and not just another 'let's spend 5 episodes explaining to the characters what the viewers have known for a long ass time' show (see SOA). lonesomexloveus Posted January 3, 2013 Share Posted January 3, 2013 first season >>> this season. they're trying to bring in way, way too many bizarre things and not really properly fleshing any of them out in a cohesive manner (aliens? nazis? angel of death? possession? weird zombie experiment creatures? bloody face? present day crap?) the first season felt creepy and totally out there in it's own right, but this season feels like they're trying super, super hard to make it more insane/weirder than the first one. maybe i just really like connie britton a lot.
