scottheisel
Rarely download music on iTunes unless I have a gift card. Have been known to impulse-buy stuff from Amazon MP3 when it's on deep discount. I still buy CDs semi-frequently, if they're $10 or less usually. I frequently buy used CDs, though. It's a great way to fill in the gaps in my catalog and musicial upbringing. I very, very infrequently illegaly download music, and typically when I do it's work-related (i.e. if a high-profile album leaks and we haven't gotten our advance of it yet but I still have to review it). lexicondevil
I finally got a car stereo with a usb input. Now it's everything on a tiny flash drive. No more mess of CDs in my car!
mrc
iTunes: yesterday, but only cause I had a balance from am old gift card. I only bought one song though, Jim Carroll Band - People who Died. CD's: I bought 3 during a black Friday sale, and i picked up the Masked Intruder - First Offense CD at their show. Besides that... Its probably been about 8 months. A_Boring_Story
I still regularly buy a ton of CD's for my girlfriend as long as they're available for less than ~$8. Only because her car CD player is stupid and won't play burned CD's... But we're too lazy to get her a better one. I'm cool with it, I mostly only buy them at a band's merch table so at least the money helps them... right?

Copper87
Bought a loved ones demo CD pretty recently not sure if that counts since it wasn't cheap
Rip
I still buy CD's all the time and rarely download stuff. Usually the only time I download is when I buy a record and it comes with a code for it. I'd much rather own a physical copy, whether it be vinyl or CD, than a digital copy. jhog3411
Last month. If I like the album I'll buy the CD to listen to at home. I can definitely tell the difference between a burned CD of MP3s compared to the real CD. That's probably the biggest reason I still buy physical copies, though I would never spend more than $10-12 for a CD.
philviral
Last CD I bought was Axe to Fall, which was also my first record purchase. Haven't bought anything digital since.
slinch
Had to go and check, I bought Against Me's New Wave CD/DVD just for the concert footage, this was mid June. Bought a total od 4 CDs this year, could have sworn it was more.
zacaroo21
I buy CDs and pretty frequently. If it's something I'm checking out I'd rather spend 5-10 bucks on a cd than 15-20 for a record. The most recent for me was the new deftones record. I dig that shit.
