So a fat check is on its way. Damn. That's a lot of shitty shifts, but the money is always awesome at the end once you power through it. Double time and a half sounds crazy. Banking days off doesn't sound too bad, but I'd rather have the extra 12 hours or whatever paid. This so MUCH from someone who has worked delivery jobs most of his adult life aside from Managing pizza shops. I hate the helpless feeling it gives me here not to be able to come and go as I please because our PT is constantly on the verge of shutting down from funding issues. And I can't walk 3 miles every day just to get to a bus stop. My SS back time will certainly be relocating me somewhere I can walk a block and catch a ride to town to do my adult duties. They are always late, and only take you on main roads. If you have to go anywhere else, you still have to walk far. Every city should have a good public transit system in place. It would solve so many problems, but I'm sure the automotive industry that killed that years ago would love it. We had trolly's until the 50's here.
