deadreckoning
Perspex flesh from England are awesome - Ringworm meets Rudimentary Peni. This record should be released soon (can download now) and they will be on tour in the US in a few weeks. http://perspexflesh.bandcamp.com/ Another excellent UK band is Mob Rules. Their new record has a big B'last / late Black Flag feel. http://www.angelfire.com/jazz/swingdancekiddo/MobRulesQCHQ012NeedlesPricksandGoads.mp3
deadreckoning
Vices from Fl, not Australia. This is pretty good. the new records has been dscribed as Fucked Up meets swamp blues. http://vicesfl.bandcamp.com/album/new-breed

kyacrash
I'll be catching some dope bands (and some shitty ones) next weekend!
kyacrash
Am I the only VC'er going to this again this year? I hope AN, Bane, Suicide File, and Reach the Sky play back to back. That would be a great way to die
deadreckoning
The Perspex Flesh 12" went up today. Shipping is a bit steep to the US, but there 150 on clear for mailorder only. They should have some black copies on their upcoming tour. http://staticshockrecords.limitedrun.com/products/548279-perspex-flesh-ordered-image-12-ep
hallowken78
I think last year's TIHC lineup was far better. Pretty bummed that Blacklisted isn't on the bill.
kurtz
Considering going on whatever day Chokehold plays. Depends on the rest of the lineup that day though.
jerseydave77
Considering going on whatever day Chokehold plays. Depends on the rest of the lineup that day though. I was talking about this with a friend today. I could live with their not being SXE. But not being Vegan? I mean this was at the core of who they were as a band, will they not be playing Burning Bridges? This one doesn't make sense as much as I love Chokehold. I saw them a couple times, I'll keep the memories. Now, Snapcase - that is worthwhile as all hell. I saw the reunion in Brooklyn in 2007(?) and they destroyed it. That band was always super tight and nothing changed at that time.
kyacrash
I think last year's TIHC lineup was far better. Pretty bummed that Blacklisted isn't on the bill. Blacklisted and Cold World too. Kinda strange not having both of them, but I wouldn't say last year was far better. Top-bottom I think this year looks like one of the best. A couple perennials left out, but hardly any duds. randomfortunepa
Nope, I go every year. I can't wait! I've been waiting for a long time now to see Snapcase. Am I the only VC'er going to this again this year? I hope AN, Bane, Suicide File, and Reach the Sky play back to back. That would be a great way to die kyacrash

They broke up before I started going to shows the first time around. I'd be stoked to see Snapcase and Morning Again too!
dirac
would love to go to TIHC someday (especially this year!), but flights from the UK are always going to break my bank!
hallowken78
I guess last year's lineup was just more tailored to my personal preferences. Converge and E-town are a couple bands in my all time top 10. I'm excited for Snapcase and American Nightmare, but I'll probably wait until daily lineups are announced before I decide whether or not I'm going. jhook
More bands that I don't care for than ones I do.If anyone does go do yourself a favor and definitely check out Fuck You Pay Me.
deadreckoning
I've many of those bands the first time around and it's a few hours away and there are tolls and i am old.... However, i have never seen Power Trip live and i want to. I would also love to see the Cro-mags again.
