timbrh2001
That's what I was hoping for. Oh well, it will sound the same either way. Me too.
oxxo
I think Sub Pop was just teasing with the assortment of colors in the video; you can tell that the groove length & number of tracks change with most of the colors.

Why would they waste their time editing a video to incorporate a bunch of different colors they never created nor intend to sell? Just wouldnt make any sense to me. fitterhappier
Why would they waste their time editing a video to incorporate a bunch of different colors they never created nor intend to sell? Just wouldnt make any sense to me. Because the director thought it would make a cook music video?
dreamover
Seems like its the one that looks like cotton candy. Just based off looking at the video. i think it's LP1: Red, LP2: White, LP3: Clear. 12 different colors in the video could just mean 4 different editions. LIGMA_BALLZ
Kinda wanted that clear with red & blue smoke through it that was in the video
saxonviolons
Unfortunately I can't justify dropping $40+ on this when I got the Amazon 2xLP for $12.
Scruffy...the janitor
I'll be in SLO on April 12th, so I'll let you know if there is indeed a tour edition. I'll try to pick up a couple if there is.

kidamnesiac
It's obvious they greened out the label on a bunch of variants of existing records to make that video and added the Postal Service label in post right? Right?

dreamover
I just dont understand the reason for doing it? Why waste the money to do so? i think it's more likely that they pressed that label on a bunch of records. i highly doubt the record is all already pressed if it doesn't come out 'til april. if you notice, the color changes a lot throughout the video. it'd be pretty lame if they only used three colors. i really think it's a joke and doubt they spent too much money doing it. also, they all have the LP3 label on them, and there's red and white records (that would have a different label)
bathroommonkey
that red blue swirl on white looks just like the King Tuff loser edition.
chefchino
Since this might be the standard What's to stop the postal service from hooking up their fans for this price with not just one of those colors in the video but 3. One for each different disc

That's the nice thing about that "give up" shirt, it doesn't say postal service on it Also it would go well with my "loser" shirt

oxxo
Sub Pop's response to my question re number of Loser Edition: "Unfortunately, we don't actually have a number on that one yet as it's going to be increased based on how many orders we've already had coming in today!"
