michaelmanfredi
the last sequence with Dani was awesome. It was almost too predictable but that didnt take away from it
jhulud
Last night's episode was the first time I had ever watched GoT. My father is a big fan and has been watching since Season one. I was utterly and completely lost, as expected. But I gotta admit I want to know more about the chick with the dragons.

Rip
New episode was pretty good. I'm glad we got to hear Jamie's side of the story behind the whole "King Slayer" thing. And I was not expecting that ending! (I haven't read the books so that's why.)
Rip
Wow, no talk about the new episode yet? It was so damn good. Things keep getting better and better.
3arl
Wow, no talk about the new episode yet? It was so damn good. Things keep getting better and better. Finally caught up after falling behind a few weeks with school stuff. There's been a lot of talking the past couple episodes, which I don't mind, but it's nice to see some action every now and then. Hopefully they make up for in the next couple episodes.

BuzzersonKillwell
I'm glad they aren't sticking to the books completely. I lose my patience with straight adaptations.

dynamitekid
I wouldn't want to watch a show where I knew everything that was going to happen before it happened.
lonesomexloveus
her being pregnant or not being pregnant has potential major implications later on down the road. also, spent awhile reading this and my brain hurts: [only read if you've read the books, otherwise, sort of spoiler alert. and you won't understand, because there is no jeyne westerling in the show. technically] http://asoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/topic/66930-the-jeyne-westerling-theory/
lonesomexloveus
I wouldn't want to watch a show where I knew everything that was going to happen before it happened. so i'm guessing that you really hate most movie adaptations of novels? hipsterasfolk
can't wait to get some time to start this season up on my magical GoT box aka my DVR...not to be confused w/ my Netflix Box aka the PS3
dynamitekid
so i'm guessing that you really hate most movie adaptations of novels? Well, not necessarily. For example, I am enjoying The Walking Dead even though it is deviating from the story in the comics. I also enjoyed Watchmen even though you can't really compare it to the comic. I guess I am just enjoying the fact that I have nothing to base this show on and am going in with zero knowledge or expectations. That way, I can enjoy the show for what it is. 3arl
I just want some serious shit to go down. There's only 3 episodes left, so they need to pick up the pace.
000000
When I was "legally acquiring" the episode last night, some asshole posted in the comments about the episode a pretty major spoiler for later on in the book. Pretty pissed off. I gotta start reading the books anyway, I guess...

000000
That's why I'm weary of this thread. I think everyone has been pretty good of putting spoilers under the spoiler tags, as far as I can remember. Thanks team!
booyahachieved
UUHHHHH. robb's wife is preggers? major deviation from the book. You chose that to point out as a major deviation? There have been so many that I've stopped counting. How about the fact that his wife on the show, Talisa, is a completely different character from a completely different continent? *Sort of Spoiler Alert* It won't matter if she's pregnant or not on the show if she ends up being killed like a lot of the characters in this series... It'll just make things even more depressing as if it weren't bad enough already.
