futures
I'm buying an E-PL5 tonight with the Panasonic G 20mm f/1.7 lens unless someone here tells me I'm making a big mistake. Get excited for someone else to think they are a photographer. I'm not sure in going to make business cards yet but I'm making a Facebook brand page for sure. Olympus is solid when it comes to the bridge cameras. They pretty much pioneered the micro 4/3 movement. I have an E-P2 myself. That Panasonic lens is really great for portraits. lonesomexloveus
unrelated (and sorry if this was asked already), but can anyone recommend a decent flatbed scanner? i want it for my artwork (mostly watercolor paintings and drawings), but figured this was an appropriate place to ask. definitely at least up to 11x14 in size, and i don't want to spend a LOT. (i.e. probably less than $250 or so)
futures
Epson is probably the way to go. Check out the Perfection V500 or V600.
lonesomexloveus
Epson is probably the way to go. Check out the Perfection V500 or V600. ugh it looks like they only go up to 8.5x11 to scan. :[ i'm having problems figuring out how to search for ones that scan larger than that. maybe i'll wind up just getting a smaller one, i dunno. thank you, though! imma keep slogging through the sea of scanner specs! edit: i guess it wouldn't be that difficult to scan in two pieces than piece together a larger painting/drawing in photoshop. derp. I was just going to suggest scanning it in pieces. That's what I had to do at the photo shop when I worked there. Scanning those old school panoramic school class photos was NOT FUN. Princess Logan
I found all my old camera equipment in the attic. I only have an SLR now, but I really want to whip it out and see what it can do. Especially because I have rolls upon rolls of expired film for it.

Out of Breath Records
I just got a roll developed and I found out my shutter had been stuck open the whole time...all my pictures gone from a 2 month period. Bummer, but that's what I get for using a 2nd-hand Diana. I thought I had fixed it with some rubbing alcohol but I guess not. Anyone have tips on how to make it unstick? Hairy Potter
I'm a professional photographer. I work for Amazon photographing products on a white background 40 hours a week. I love my job! i started off doing school portraits and weddings and fell into e-comerce studio photography two years ago after seeing a job posting. I much prefer this work where the subject sits still and doesn't talk.

Princess Logan
uhhh, the moon is pretty far from NEPA Touche. I'm from Kutztown, so it's about an hour out. I don't have skillz for this job, I was just saying. It's near Bethlehem, right? I'm out that way a lot.

It seems to be more or less an editing job. Any idea what the salary is like?

Any idea what the salary is like? i feel like a lot of people's time (both employer AND potential employee) would be saved if job listings would include salary. (or at least a range, based on experience)
