jhulud
Well hell. If anyone is hitting that show at Schubas and wouldn't mind snagging me a color vinyl copy, that'd be tops.
kramer73
They said they should have some in Madison as well.
Unique Antics
I checked out their P4K aftershow and I can confirm they are no longer selling their EP but they are selling the blue and red LP variants.
stl_ben
Long shot....if anyone has a copy of the green tour 7" please message me. I know we can work out a deal; cash or trade.
stl_ben
If any of you are into tapes, they have their new record on tape with them on tour now. Limited to 100 copies. Get it before it's gone, it's all but impossible to find their first EP Cassette.

just a normal guy kevin
Does the resale value of the tape exceed the cost of a ticket and the original price of the tape? Because if so, I know a guy who will beg you to buy him a copy (just lost his job and he loves Bully). museummouth
stl_ben
Tapes are $10, they have a couple new shirts, and the lp/cd.

Expected ship date is January 28th. stl_ben
just a normal guy kevin
$30 after shipping? That's a Hot Topic level risk without the Hot Topic fan base guarantee for flippers.
toomanyrecords
Yeah the album is good but IDK if it's $30 good
just a normal guy kevin
I'm actually on board with raising prices to discourage flipping. If this were $15, you'd be looking at hundreds of copies immediately going to the second hand market. At $30, hopefully more fans and keepers will opt in and more flippers will sit this one out. stl_ben
Bully stuff hasn't hit the secondary market much. Which kind of just makes it hard to find things if you weren't able to get it at first (luckily I'm not missing anything yet).
youspinmeround
Does bully really have the audience for flippers? I think people are sitting it out because it's bully and most people who aren't collectors already have 1 copy that they need/use. I really liked this album but don't need a cash grab splatter from them
stl_ben
Well they are on almost every major site/magazines best of 2015 list so I'm sure they have an audience. There is demand on the secondary market for their stuff because I get PMd all the time from people trying to get me to sell. And no, repressing something that is in demand isn't a cash grab, it's simply trying to make a living. It's not like these guys are eating caviar and hanging with Jay-z. negavinyl

But the album is still in print in standard version. Selling those still makes a living. It's a band capitalizing on their hype. I am not criticizing them at all. I don't care what they do or how anyone spends their money but don't criticize the next band who does this. Too much ok for this band not ok for this band on the vc (not directed at anyone in particular before vc has a meltdown)
stl_ben
I don't criticize any band for trying to put food on the table.
kramer73
It's still available, so I think we can chill about a band selling merch. If they repressed their singles, I would definitely pick those up.
OldKentuckyShark
I don't have a problem with this. The old color versions have been sold out for a while. This is readily available on black vinyl but maybe you want a color version of the album without having to pay flipper prices. And it's a new color so the flippers that bought the record just to flip it won't have to lower their prices to flip it. Everyone wins

Lol at wanting to pay more to prevent "flippers". That makes zero sense. "Yes, I would love to pay more because of other people taking advantage of free market and supply and demand". I don't flip new releases, total waste of time, but if that's something people want to take a risk on, who cares? It's like playing the lottery, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. I use to be into it, but realized it's not worth my time and energy.
maximuss
great band, hope they press another 10.000 and sell it! I will wait for a 2nd album.
