  1. I've been able to order 10 liter boxes of reagent water off Amazon in the past. Usually around $30-35 with Prime shipping. Availability comes and goes, but the brand is Ricca.
  2. Ended up with two copies from the UK due to some order fulfillment issues, and just trying to recoup most of my costs on one. Due to exchange rate and shipping costs, I'm losing money here. This is not a flip. $40 shipped in the US. The copy is sealed but has some typical creasing from being shipped in a crappy mailer from the UK, and price reflects this.

    What's your White Whale record?

It is a much cooler pick-up than click-click-click on Discogs!

    What's your White Whale record?

Glad you finally got a copy! Hopefully priced better than the one up on Discogs. The Sadies' "Stories Often Told" LP had been a white whale for me for years now (tough to find at any price), but managed to snag one up on Discogs the other week. Not cheap but so it goes...
  5. It actually came in a decent corrugated mailer (Banquet-branded). Is that a recent change? Perhaps they used those horrible, thin UK mailers in the past? This is what they used: https://www.lilpackaging.com/buy-packaging/book-wraps-packaging-book-mailers/vinyl-record-mailers-lp-record-wraps/
  6. Anyone wanna trade me The National that I ordered from Banquet for the Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds that they sent me instead? FFS.
  7. Rough Trade (US) still has the Bowie live 3LP if anyone is still looking: https://www.roughtrade.com/us/music/david-bowie-welcome-to-the-blackout-live-london-1978
  8. Saw the show on that pre-Sea Change acoustic tour in Toronto and it was fantastic. As was his show on the Midnite Vultures tour at Maple Leaf Gardens. Can't speak for anything since those two, though (and won't anytime soon if $100 tickets at Madison Square Garden is his new norm). At least his records are cheap on Amazon (on topic!).
  9. Anyone know if Banquet adjusts VAT like Piccadilly? Not complaining because I crossed off most of my list, but these GBP prices are rough versus USD retail. Now I just have to find that Kevin Shields/Brian Eno 12”...
  10. So unfortunately my credit card was shut down for fraud this morning, right before they tried to charge this. As a result, they just went ahead and cancelled my order. Customer service is not helpful. If anyone ordered a spare, I could sure use a friend on this!
  11. Ditto. And they don't know how to bcc for mass e-mails...

    Record Store Day 2018

Thanks, but no international shipping as far as I can tell.

@thischarmingham Assume you're not taking individual requests here, just confirming what will be going up?
  15. Some serious reference-level equipment there for judging that test pressing.
