The dude can continue to sell HIS records on eBay alllll he wants. However, I would prefer that he stop making money off of mine - regardless of how little money he may actually make from the few LPs of mine that he has. That's all. I don't ever expect to get paid. But you can bet that I am going to bid that fucking record up as high as can be...and never pay for it!

not that i was questioning the repressing at all, but theyve been doing /500 variant pressings. id understand if they did the 1k-2k pressings on black and maybe another colour, but this just feels like a cash grab on the collectors market. just my humble opinion though. you probably know more than me anyway as you run a record label and i dont, but i just thought id chime in with how it looks from where i stand.

The Clash's "Combat Rock" is such a great album. Immediately started spinning this. Buy this album right now. Edit: it ain't coca cola, it's rice.

It's a nice find if you didn't pay an arm and a leg. It's a bootleg of the San Francisco show on the "My Aim Is True" tour (1978). I saw him in Toronto on that tour - that's how old I am.

Nostalgia is a beast - can't believe I have this in my hands again.

I have little to no musical talent. Not for a lack of effort however. My talents lie in other fields and arts and yes, the people I consider talented in my chosen field a lot of others do not regard the same way. I make a comfortable living in a creative field that is frequently judged by strangers. Not everyone will enjoy everything I do and that goes for any and all creative fields. I've had the joy of a glowing NY Times Review and the disappointment of being bashed by the same publication. I have a pretty good understanding of these things. So, I'll happily be the a 30+ year old whatever as opposed to someone who cries because someone didn't care to pre-order some record. Your holier than thou bump was obnoxious and you can keep digging your hole all you want with your assumptions about others. Next time around try bumping with a recommendation about why others might enjoy something you dig as opposed to slinging insults.
