So, I just received a record I bought from another user on this website in the mail today. It was a copy of Citizen's record, Youth. The flower concept on the cover actually legitimately came out on the red side of the record. The thing is, I didn't let the record sit on my front porch or anything, I was sitting on my couch in the living room when the mail lady came by to drop it off. It's very weird to me that only the red side has any sort of issues as well... I have no idea who to blame for this record being messed up. The sleeve is fine, everything is fine with the record minus the record itself. Who is really at fault here? Is this something that is likely USPS, or is this the person sending the record? The record was packed well, everything is great except the red side of the record. Like I said at the top, I have never received a record warped like this. I have received records that had bends in the sleeves, seam splits, and sometimes even mailed to me in bubble wrap and a t-shirt mailer (thanks Hot Topic, lol), but I have never received something like this. I have over 250 records as well, so it's very odd to me. What do you guys think?

Is this going to be any different than the black variant that I have? If not, what's the point of this other than maybe "exclusive" colors? That press was really, really good, and I don't think it was that very limited at all. I'm referring to Morning View on this one. It's like the Hot Topic distributed pressing of Brand New's "Daisy", lol. What's the point other than an exclusive color? I still bought it, lol.

I'm definitely getting tired of buying extra things just to get a more exclusive variant. The shirt I got with my TBS pre-order last year was awful, the Aaron West shirt was pretty bad... just not my style of fit on them. I wish every band was on RFC or something, they handled the Citizen pre-order really well. I think it's a MerchNow thing. Everyone that releases a record via Merchnow seems to do stuff like this.

Confused because I am buying the bundle with the shirt + notebook + poster + LP and the cheapest shipping option is actually $9? Different for everyone based on location I'm assuming?

After hearing that the shipping is that ridiculous, I might as well throw a fucking shirt in with my pre-order. Jesus.

I want to know who they're touring with so badly! Haha. Someone hook me upppp with the info! I can't wait to pre-order this, but I have to wake up at 6:30 tomorrow for my final exam for a class... fml. Do I stay up for the pre-order or sleep early and potentially miss out on a cool bundle that I'd generally be down to buy? Decisions. Adult life?

It isn't about whether or not people love this band, it's about what your demands are. You're looking for a very specific copy of a specific record in return. There probably isn't even 500 tour copies of that specific album out there, and it's quite possible that a good amount of people owning the L Shaped Man either a) already have the Citizen album you're getting rid of, potentially the same exact variant you are trying to trade, or b ) aren't interested in trading a tour variant of an album they purchased at a show for a record they could easily buy online / in stores. If you decide to sell the record, or open up your "trading for" list, you'll more than likely find takers. People do enjoy Citizen, and people definitely want to get that specific variant.

I wasn't happy with the shipping price on the LPs I bought. There was no media mail option. But I know I got a deal on the records, so I can't complain too much.

the type of deals they're running on the equipment are just really good... I don't have the type of money right now to spend on a new turntable, otherwise I would also be buying that. Instead, I'm buying a few records I've been interested in buying but haven't wanted to pay $20 for. They have a great selection of music.

I actually got down voted over my excitement of an album I want to have in my hands? Gosh, y'all are a bit ridiculous. Of course I'm aware the thing isn't actually out yet. I will likely have the vinyl on or before release date, I just wanted it even sooner, lol.

They tweeted, "Should we do a thing in a few hours?" so maybe they decided they still may put it up or announce it or something... regardless, I'm excited for new Pentimento, and I think Bad Timing is the perfect label to be doing a release like this.

I missed the boat on this release because I ended up MIA on here for a few weeks. I definitely wish I could have gotten coke bottle or the half/half. May just wait and hope there's a repress of the first Sorority Noise record and buy both at the same time.

I never received shipping notifications on this, I hope they did ship it to me though, lol. I'm still waiting.

I felt like the album was super boring... I mean, I will listen to it more than once before really coming to a conclusion but I was bored with it.

Multiple times my Hot Topic order has been shipped to me in a bag. The most recent time was the Brand New - Daisy on Green vinyl. Miraculously, I have never received a record with ANY sort of damage, though.
