It happens all the time when you list an item that has 0 copies for sale.
-
Triple post but I had something listed for $900. I got an offer for $250 right away which I actually thought about accepting because the item had never sold before and I don't know the actual worth. I sat on it for 3 days and on the 4th someone offered $450. I get y'all are mad but leave my offer system alone!

They don't HAVE to reduce that time I think 5 days to accept, 1 day to pay is fair. Maybe I'm biased.
I dunno I just think it's fair to have to wait 4 or 5 days to get a payment if I took 4 or 5 days to accept haha

Man, if your item has enough interest to get multiple offers coming in just set it to the price you want. If that's the reasoning they SHOULD reduce the time on offers. Haha...
Man, if I list an item and someone throws up an offer within 5 minutes I'm leaving it up longer. So yeah the first thing you came up with isn't the only scenario.

They COULD make it so offers have to be paid within 24 hours but I guess they can't think that hard. 4 days is ridiculous. I had it happen to me earlier this year on an expensive record.
They'd have to reduce the time you have to accept the offer too which I don't want. It's nice having 5 days to see if you'll get a better offer.

Penalty = death. If that's the reason they can't do it then they should get rid of offers and move on. Being forced to wait 4 days for some deadbeat asshole to not pay while tying up inventory is stupid.
Which is why a penalty should be added without removing key features that aren't available elsewhere. If you disable someone's account for a month for non-payment the issue goes away.

It blows my mind that they still don't have a cart system that doesn't create an order until someone pays.
There's no way around making offers on multiple records this way. What they need is an actual penalty for not paying.

It's here too. There were probably less than half the total amount on Domino's store https://merch.sandyalexg.com/products/742407-alex-g-live-from-union-transfer-vinyl

I miss the old sound and the even older Sioux Falls sound but those 2 tracks sold me.

Have they provided any explanation on why shipping will be have a fee applied? I'm not understanding how they justify that.
It's because people thought they were smart pricing their items super cheap with the savings added into the shipping price. Like for a normal $20 LP with $5 shipping they'd charge $5 with $20 shipping.

Nice collection! Are you just starting to collect? I miss those days 😪

I like the idea of y'all filtering out the good numero releases for me with their own threads. They're hit or miss with all the other genres
-
I've always put off listening to this one but love the shit outta Cap'n Jazz

The only person that ever got hassled for making too many threads is gone now. I think everyone is just lazy lol.

The best in each forum is the "Ignore" option! I guess, you can imagine what I did . . . 😎
If your favorite forum option on multiple forums is that one then it must totally be everyone else and not you. Incredible 😅

I don't know exactly what you disliked so much about my post, my guess would be the "Still Sealed" thing ... that's up to you to judge.
To be honest, I don't really care what you think, to stay polite. . . . and please don't forget: The world does not revolve around only you!
But the fact is that no one but Americans are so crazy about this kind of record. On the contrary, I insist that sellers open the shrink-wrap to prevent the cover from getting split seams during shipping.
Nah it's your entire personality. It sucks and you're oblivious.

Firstly, thank you for your input, but if you had taken the trouble to check my feedback, you would have easily seen that the buyers are satisfied . . . 🤗
I never had any complaints about recordings graded 'M'. I have kept all my stock extremely safe and secure!
As far as I am concerned, it is a more than convincing vote! I also regularly receive pm's who appreciate my grading and the additional information about the condition of the record. Often the visual condition doesn't match the audible condition and, and, and ...
By the way, the 'sealed' thing is an annoying American mannersim, I've had lots of records that weren't 'M' when I unpacked them. Don't worry, even the grading is not fixed, it's all floating. However, most of what I offer comes with an audio clip too.
I get that you're being defensive because what people have been saying but this is probably the douchiest post I've seen on VC this year.

Have you tried flushing?

And $25 was still $5 over the regular 2LP price at the time these records were always overpriced.

Imagine arguing with someone who speaks German about the cringeness of the actual lyrics not being a massive drawback. Fucking insane.
Discogs Charging US Sales Tax, Beginning July 1st

Also their math is really bad unless they just think nobody pays for shipping if you make it free. Which they don't since they're just being sneaky. Including your shipping price in the overall price so it's "free" is still the same 9%. They're literally saying just pay shipping out of pocket to get a lower overall fee. Holy shit. I'm glad I don't really have anything expensive listed right now and it's just shit I need gone for whatever price. It may be time for a discogs replacement soon.
