Nah, looks like Blade was right based off the description.  The golden light is the screenprinted cover release of this but doesn't speak to the color of the vinyl.

Snagged one.  Hope I get a cosmic vein.

I think L&J hinted that there'd be something released to commemorate that Four Trees anniversary.  I wonder if we'll hear more on the upcoming Thursday newsletter.

Post-Post-VC isn't meant to be a replacement to VC as a whole, but it'll give this thread an expanded platform to really bloom and do its own thing, I think.  I'd probably consider it supplemental – you'll definitely be able to follow appropriate post-genre / electronic / ambient / shoegaze / drone releases, there, but also check out VC for the latest Vinyl Me Please record, shipping woes, and threads for Youtube channels, study surveys, etc.

ELDER  NEW ALBUM ART / TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT!
"We can't wait any more to start rolling out some more news regarding the new album and upcoming tours so... we won't.
Here is the cover for our upcoming album "Reflections of a Floating World", handled by our resident visual magician Adrian Dexter, who again used album's double LP format in a unique and beautiful way. We'll reveal some more of his stunning work for the album and format details later.
To kick off the release, we will hit Europe for a tour in July/August, playing for the first time as a four-piece. We are happy to announce that labelmates King Buffalo will be joining us. They released their killer debut album "Orion" last year and we're looking forward to their jams live.
A US tour is in the works for October, as well as some other tours being planned. Can't wait to share the album with you all and see some new and old faces on the road soon."

Band members and friends Nick DiSalvo, Jack Donovan and Matt Couto already dismissed any last remains of stoner metal stereotypes on "Lore" (2015). Their current album, which was written following the long and acclaimed Lore tour in moments ofintense creativity, is a journey into prog rock and psychedelic worlds. Six monumental songs, huge in sound, each of them their own cosmic expedition. What begins as driving mid-tempo rock filled with heavy guitar riffs repeatedly erupts into melodic tangents and clever variations. The high demands that DiSalvo places on his own songwriting seem to become more unfettered from minute to minute – as does the pleasure of listening to him. Guest musicians Michael Samos and Mike Risberg have added additional guitars, pedal steel and keyboards to the trio, making Elder’s sound more voluminous than ever, and the influences found here range from 70s prog dinosaurs such as Yes, King Crimson or Pink Floyd to their kindred spirits in the European psychedelic and space rock scenes. And it is of course a cliché, but Elder bring their own organism to life from all these influences.

Elder already strike out on their chosen path on the album opener “Sanctuary”. What begins as a trademark stoner song turns on its own axis several times at minute four, morphing into lyrical polyphonic pickings and using a Mellotron to sweet-talk its way to an unfathomable and brutal finale. “The Falling Veil” moves between Thin Lizzy with palpitations and undulating progressive riffs. Those who think of Kyuss during “Staving off Truth” won’t be able to hold that thought the entire 11 minutes of the song. And as hymn-like as the riffs can be, the band never settles down to one part for longer than two minutes. But at the same time, the songs never lose their coherence, because all parts are logically woven into one another. And it could be that “Sonntag”, a detour into the Krautrock motorik functions of Neu!, most clearly shows the limitless cosmic ambitions of Elder.

Elder will be taking Reflections of a Floating World live to European fans in July and August 2017, followed by a USA tour in the fall. The East Coast trio will be a quartet for the first time ever on these tours with the addition of Mike Risberg on second guitar and keyboards. Anybody who has already seen Elder live know that they shouldn’t miss the opportunity to see them on this tour! It’s time to get euphoric. With Elder’s fourth full-length album, an epic piece of rock music will be released unto the world. And we think that’s a reason to celebrate...

    PROFOUND LORE:

Maryland/Pennsylvania experimental death-noise band Full of Hell have completed work on their devastating new album “Trumpeting Ecstasy” which will be released May 05 on CD/LP/Digital/CS.  New music and pre-orders will drop sometime in the upcoming weeks.
FULL OF HELL have embarked on quite the journey leading up to the impending release of “Trumpeting Ecstasy”, an album which will see the band deliver their most punishing, virulent, and dynamic album to date.
With “Trumpeting Ecstasy”, FULL OF HELL build upon their progression since "Full Of Hell & Merzbow" and the releases succeeding it (collab album with The Body and several EPs, one being the split 7" with Nails).  This time the band decided to go into Godcity with Kurt Ballou at the production helm to help achieve the intended vision of “Trumpeting Ecstasy”.  The result being the best and strongest sounding FULL OF HELL album, their most towering release to date.  Sky tearing and sonically cataclysmic, the aural deluge that is “Trumpeting Ecstasy” also features guest appearances by Aaron Turner (Sumac/Old Man Gloom/Mamiffer/Isis), Nate Newton (Converge/Old Man Gloom), Andrew Nolan (Column Of Heaven/The Endless Blockade), and Canadian singer/songwriter Nicole Dollanganger.  Expect FULL OF HELL to tour relentlessly in support of “Trumpeting Ecstasy” as well.
Featuring artwork and design courtesy of Mark McCoy, track listing for “Trumpeting Ecstasy” goes as follows:
    1. Deluminate
    2. Branches Of Yew
    3. Bound Sphinx
    4. The Cosmic Vein
    5. Digital Prison
    6. Crawling Back To God
    7. Fractured Quartz
    8. Gnawed Flesh
    9. Ashen Mesh
    10. Trumpeting Ecstasy
    11. At The Cauldron’s Bottom
The embryonic beginnings of Full of Hell displayed their palette at its most primitive, d-beat and blast ridden hardcore punk with spats of noise and caustic rhythm, and within a few short years, they have bloomed into a true force to be reckoned with within the punk, hardcore and metal communities.  Since the release of their Profound Lore Records debut album “Full Of Hell & Merzbow” late 2014, their third full-length album, the band began to truly come into their own, combining elements of grindcore, death/black metal, punk and hardcore with a smattering of sonically laden power electronics and industrial pounding.  It would also signal the band being at their most active and prolific ever since their inception in 2009.
The band would tour endlessly non-stop in different parts of the world in places as far off as Japan, Australia (twice), Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Philippines, South Korea etc.), along with several tour runs in Europe and many tour jaunts within the US, along with playing countless festivals and exclusive shows.  The band would also add to their repertoire and discography as well during said timeframe releasing a direct collaboration album with The Body and several EPs, one of them being their most-recent split 7”EP with Nails (which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 100 Singles Chart).
FULL OF HELL are currently on tour with the Cavalera Brothers (performing “Roots”) and the mighty Immolation and have been playing new tracks from “Trumpeting Ecstasy” on the tour likewise.  Remaining dates of the Return To Roots tour go as follows:
02/21 New York, NY @ Gramercy Theatre
02/22 Rochester, NY @ Montage Music Hall
02/23 Chicago, IL @ Portage Theater
02/25 Denver, CO @ The Summit Music Hall
02/27 Billings, MT @ Pub Station
03/01 Seattle, WA @ Studio Seven
03/02 Portland, OR @ Hawthorne Theatre
03/03 San Francisco, CA @ Slims
03/04 Santa Ana, CA @ Observatory
