I'd be surprised if you had any issue with that Son Lux preorder, A Joyful Noise is a pretty solid label and I have yet to have any issues with them. You shouldn't let a couple bad experiences ruin preorders for you completely, I would guess what happened is the exception and not the rule.

That pressing is really rad, spendy though! I will say that the supplement that comes with the 4xLP boxes are reason enough to snag the box sets. That and they're usually easier to find and cheaper than original pressings. I hope that Washing Machine gets that treatment eventually, I've had a helluva time finding a copy that isn't $60+. Good luck on finding what you want! I'm slowly trying to complete the studio catalogue and SYR releases myself.

Looks like you can get a new Dirty 4xLP set off Amazon marketplace for 35$ PPD, which isn't too bad IMO.

Due to pressing issues, I think it took 6 months before Bosse-de-Nage - III showed up. Think that's the longest for me.

I think that's what I paid for a copy used at a local store, same thing with Crack the Skye. I'm sure with enough patience this can be acquired for $10-15, there are plenty of pressings of it. That being said, the new variant is damn pretty and I would pick it up if I was more into variant collecting.

The 2xLP 45RPM needs to be repressed. I'd love it if Leviathan got the 2x45RPM treatment too, although I'm wouldn't want Hearts Alive and Joseph Merrick crammed onto one side.

The one I received from Backside looked fine, no scratches that I could see underneath the shrink-wrap. Maybe you can see if Deathwish will sell you a spare sleeve next time you order from them or something?
