  1. Didn't have time to watch this and Breaking Bad before work. I have a feeling watching them back to back would have made Dexter feel even worse than it already is.
  2. I have a signed test press of Old Man Gloom : Seminar III, which I badly need to put in a frame and on my wall.
  3. I'll be at work when these go on sale, so I'll be on a computer. I'll probably try and snag one. It won't ruin my day if I don't, either due to them being too costly or selling out before I get one in my cart. I think either scenario is my realistic than getting one. I don't need pretty colors to enjoy the music (even though I'm not opposed to them). If this gets pressed on black vinyl in the future, I'll be just as happy with that.
  4. I get that, I was mostly making a joke. But, I would also doubt that SubPop is a label you need that extra layer of protection from getting ripped off.
  5. Too lazy to pull our your wallet? I'm embarrassed to admit that I'll choose PayPal sometimes simple because I don't feel like grabbing mine.
  6. Same here. However, if it was a real high end box set like drds89 mentioned in the previous post, I would send them a small bucket of money for it.
  7. This band is great. I agree that they're one of post rock's hidden gems, I feel the same way about Gregor Samsa too. Both seem to be overlooked for some reason.
  8. Can't really help you with what kind of power cable it uses, but the deck looks rad! Congrats!
  9. Looks like I didn't budget as well as I planned this paycheck, so I need to dump a few records just in case. Make me an offer. I'd prefer to ship multiple items to one person, but it isn't a requirement. I'll consider shipping outside the US too. I'm the original owner for almost all of these, many of which have been in my collection for about 10 years. I'm not at home right now, but I'm guessing they're all VG+/VG+ at a minimum. I can check specifics if necessary. Most have been listened to once or twice. 10. Disco still might be my favorite AM! release. I like the songs on True Trans better than anything on White Crosses, my hopes for the LP are high.
  11. Yeah! As long as you're only looking for punk and genres with ties to punk, it's a great store. Also, I'd recommend running across the street to Shorty's too. 20 pinball machines and cheap beer.
  12. I've got about 52GB of comics right now, I don't mind sharing either.
  13. In Seattle, I'd recommend Singles Going Steady for punk, screamo, hardcore, etc. They have the best selection of that material. For more rounded stores, Everyday Music here is good (better than the PDX one in my opinion). If you're willing to drive a bit (or take a decent bus ride), both Sonic Boom (in Ballard) and Easy St. Records (in West Seattle) are both excellent.
  14. Easily my favorite live drummer, it's mesmerizing to watch him play. Great band live (and insanely loud every time I've seen them).
  15. That's what I have too, the color is really good looking. In hindsight, I wish I would have went with the "diarrheainbow" variant. Oh well...
  16. First listen though, it hasn't grabbed me like I was expecting it too. It wasn't bad by any means, I think it's going to take me a few listens to really appreciate it. Hodoku / Compassion has an Appleseed Cast vibe to it.
  17. I really like the Here, Hear volumes. I'd love to see them get collected on a 12" some day.
  18. Don't mind the new track. As much as I miss the Art of Drowning / Black Sails AFI, I've enjoyed all the later releases more than I expected. Art of Drowning was the last one I bought and it'll probably stay that way. Completely forgot about Son of Sam, going to have to queue that up if I still have it!
