radiatorhums got a reaction from TheMoosen in Small Talk Revival Thread
The last time someone got my card information they tried to use it to buy a bunch of stuff of a body building site. When so many of my transactions consist of bars and pizza deliveries, you'd think that something like that would have been flagged as fraudulent immediately.

As bummed as I am that this is coming to an end, I think the timing is right. The show is still great and it won't run the risk of wearing out it's welcome. Since Eli is in Chicago, I'd assume we'll see a decent amount of Capone (and hopefully more Van Alden).

Got mine in today. The LP is a light marbled blue and the 7" is white. I was doing things around my apartment during my first listen, so I didn't have my full attention. What I did pick up during my casual listen was really good though. Going to be played a lot in the next few days I think.

Yeah, although I listened to both of the versions for the first time a few weeks ago, right now I'm still having trouble recalling whether or not they actually were different. I'd have to listen to the first recording to see if I remember correctly.
I think the fact that it is divided into two parts already had something to do with it... I can't remember if it actually flowed together perfectly.
They are incredibly similar but the one on the album is definitely a bit more polished with some parts feeling a lot more solid. The one on the EP feels a bit "unsure of itself" in the sense that if you compare it to the one on the album. Effrim's vocals have definitely improved.
*Had a quick listen. Indeed, the EP one with its two parts kind of fades in and out where they're interposed to each other.

radiatorhums got a reaction from BuzzersonKillwell in The Beer Thread
Brewing a session pale ale tonight (and a saison next week)! I've got my brew time down to about 5.5 hours if I do a 60 minute boil. Got a bunch of new music in the mail today too, stoked to drink beer and listen to some new stuff.

Everything I've ordered from Relapse has been packaged very well. My last order was surrounded in bubble wrap and some extra cardboard. I don't think I've ever experienced 'light packaging' on anything I've ordered from them.

I think season 6 is where it really started to go downhill and never really picked back up. The last two seasons were downright bad.
I love Bob's Burgers (and am bummed there isn't a new one on tonight, stupid football). I think it's one of the funniest things on TV right now and there isn't really anything that has quite the same humor.

radiatorhums got a reaction from ratbrain in PO: Liars - Mess
Didn't love the new track, but Liars material usually grows on me after repeat listens. I'll buy this no matter what. Depending upon the price, I'll pick up that limited edition release. The prototype looks rad.

radiatorhums got a reaction from addi in Discordance Axis : Original Sound Version 1992 - 1995 2xLP + 7"
On clear or black vinyl, $25 + shipping : http://hydrahead.merchtable.com/music-vinyl/discordance-axis-original-sound-version-1992-1995-vinyl-2xlp-plus-7
Also, before any complaints pop up about how expensive Hydra Head is. $25 seems to be close to what a lot of labels are charging for a 2xLP and a 7" these days.
