This is the same way mine arrived. Outer box was mashed to shit but inside stayed ok and also can report spine has a crease! HAHAHA! TOO FUNNY! It is 1000 times better than the original version that arrived months ago. Now I just will wait for the other releases to hit my local shop. Already have originals of everything so just want to get new clean copies while I can. They finally came through but could learn a lot from sound stage direct or elusive disc when it comes to shipping and packing properly.

I have been following the thread on the Steve Hoffman forums and there does NOT seem to be a difference in pressings between the RSD release and the new repress. The difference is the hype sticker on the front packaging as far as I can discern. Although if you buy a UK pressing it will be from parlophone which is not the same as the US pressing of BNW RSD.

Just looked at my preorder and realized I paid $9.59 for them to ship this Media mail in a flimsy box. Yay! Vinyl looks perfect and that's the important part but considering this was almost $100 after tax, they really should put a little effort into protecting the product for Mass mailing.

Deviations should be here today. I don't even remember the cost but that kind of damage is unacceptable. After reading all these complaints, I know for sure I won't be preordering anything else vinyl related from their online store.

Dead weather vault package arrived last night and looks great! These guys are masters at packaging product. Cleaned it last night but won't be spinning until tonight. Another great package!!!

Ok well I cleaned my copy of Evil Dead 2 and hopefully everyone else gets nice quiet copies....because the amount of ticks and pops are ridiculous!!!! Cleaned on a VPN and guess I will need to clean again. Its very annoying when the quiet parts come up and you here clicks and ticks.... THE MUSIC SOUNDS EXCELLENT though.....and the presentation is nice....but rather useless when its noisy! Maybe they need to include digital copies so I can listen to it without the background noises...... Its nowhere near as bad as Trick R' Treat but when you hear pops during the strings it just takes you right out of the music. /endrant
