To each his own but I don't think Kanye is better than Biggie. Comparable versatility wise but when it comes to bars and lyricism (storytelling), Kanye isn't in the same stratosphere.

No interest in Kanye as there are literally a million more artists that have more talent and integrity than him, no joke.
 
Furthermore, it should be known that no true genius ever says "I'm a genius". 

I fucking love Kendrick, that being said Kanye is in my opinion the greatest alive and my favorite all -time.

If we really want to talk a Kanye masterpiece we should talk about Common's Be... Nothing like Dilla and old Kanye beats. THAT was a game changer right there!

Called my local HT to see if my records were there (TBP and the HT press of Daisy) since I had them shipped to the store , but hadn't received an email saying they were there. The high school girl that answered (who I'm sure is the manager) said "Yeah, they've been here for a hot minute."
That's about as Hot Topic as it gets, folks.

The only thing I know about this band is their music videos that always used to play on Much Music when I was younger.  I remember one was on a boat, one was a pool party or something maybe, and then of course the one where they're marching down a street dressed as clowns or something.  But all I can remember about their music is "I'M NOT OKKAAAAAYYYY".

All I ever find is lots of Barbara Streisand as well as Herp Alpert and the Tijuana Brass albums.

I feel like Pale Emperor holds it's own against much of his older work.

Have you listened to it?  Nothing more than hype to accompany a stunted comeback (oh, look at all the reviews of his shows that say he isn't completely washed up yet!!).

This statement negated by the recent success of The Pale Emperor. 

Btw, this guy is going out of his way and driving in the snow to get us all copies of this. He passed on his HT Three Cheers to me, so I think it would be fair if everyone he got a copy for could chip in and buy him a record that he wants. For example, if he picks something that's about $25 we can all gift him 4 or 5 bucks, so he can get the record. It would be the right thing to do to show that we are thankful for guys like this on the boards!

i thought the whole album was only slightly better than Born Villain. this guy just needs to stop.
