    Mondo Music and Vinyl Films are proud to continue their ongoing series with the premiere vinyl release of the soundtrack to Cameron Crowe’s 1996 film JERRY MAGUIRE, with an all-new, remastered filmmaker approved re-issue.
 
     
    Featuring songs by Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, The Who, Aimee Mann, Neil Young and more, the soundtrack is available on 2x 180 gram “Show me the money!” translucent green vinyl or 2x 180 gram black vinyl. It also includes a bonus replica mission statement and liner notes by Cameron Crowe.

    To me, it feels like most Shoegaze et al fans are pretty entrenched & stubborn & hardline about the genre & unwilling to listen to other styles. With Nothing though, the band has attracted fans with more expanded tastes & listening habits. I mean, even the band members, original & newer, started in or are still doing bands & projects of varied non-Shoegaze stuff: Horror Show, Night Sins, White Lighter, Jesus Piece, etc. 

    I can only speak for myself in loving both Nothing and Full Of Hell and being pretty excited for this collab record.

    Funny enough, a friend reached out today asking if I still wrote & kept up with my records blog, and prompted me to revisit a few old posts. One of which was about the Spiderland remaster.

    Those pics though. Too goddamn funny that she really goes through a lot of effort and staging to take pictures with her vinyl.

    Not gonna lie. I spent a good 5-10 minutes looking through all her posts trying to figure out what her social media angle is. 

    Is she trying to be some sort of “influencer” for a niche audience?

    Unfortunately...I won't be able to fly up to attend the Chicago shows. Things are still chaos after my father's passing. 

    So...two tix...one for each night up for grabs...$55 a pop (face value). If you or someone you know is game, please reach out. They're from eTix so I'm assuming all I'd need to do is forward the email(s) with link to print-at-home the tix.
