Listened to the album a couple of times today. Not sure about it. Something feels off to me. It’s like it’s too shiny & glossy & maybe overproduced in its sound. It reminded me of what Country music sounded like in the 80’s and part of the 90’s as it was trying to forcefully appeal to the pop mainstream & ignoring its roots & sound. 

I don't know if y'all saw...but Blake Harrison of Pig Destroyer passed away this past weekend. 48 years old. 

Rest in Power, good sir.

From what I have been reading so far, "Premium Tickets" is the same thing as the "Official Platinum" thing that TM does. So same thing, just different name. 

This came across my feed on socials as being shoegaze/dreampop adjacent and I have been obsessed with it. It's dubbed "left-field pop" and it's all kinds of wonderful. Their whole catalog is just so good so far.

Yeah. It’s been a chore to read through all the bitching & whining. What’s been really upsetting me is how some people are super happy to have scored tix & it’s their first time to see PJ ever but then come the entitled crybabies raining on their parades.

I've been in 10C since '96 or so...and always got lucky with getting tix...at least for all FL shows they've done. This time around I figure to try out and late birthday gift myself to catch them in Chicago and Boston, and got lucky & got all 4 nights. 

Now I have to pay up or shut up. 

A friend of mine had started doing music & they just put out their first song. It’s conducive to our interests here. I hope y’all dig.
