i will say in the buyers defense, paypal has caused me crazy problems with paying for simple transactions and invoices before. tied to send money, wouldnt let me. had person send me an invoice, couldn't pay it. wanted to check past transaction, account locked out... one of the worst was having my account locked until I gave the answer to whatever stupid question I chose 7 or 8 years ago and had never again gave a second thought too. No matter how many ways I tried to enter the name of my first grade teacher, I could not send a simple payment! After spending a couple days of email and then getting my phone call bumped up to supervisor they said they would send me a link to completely reset my account so I could use it. Link never came. All to send $25 bucks (to myself none the less). A few months later I tied to use the account to pay an online retailer and worked with no problems. Some funky shit there sometimes. that being said, i was one of the 'refund the money' voters... simply because I of it being hard to be covered due to lack of good overseas tracking methods!

yea, this actually the Third one he has done it looks like. I actually quite like the others. Seems like some people get hung up on remixing and mashups and so forth. are you sure about this? it has the same dead wax was info as the 2003 - '320' mix (or whatever year that was). I haven't been listening to any other version (or even the B2B one so recently) to compare, but if it really was the same plate pressing as someone mentioned it would seem it's also the Albini mix.

I am actually pretty surprised this has not fully leaked yet! Seems like I really will be listening to it full for the first time when the vinyl arrives. Normally I DO NOT have that patience to wait! ...and speaking of the new video (after finally getting a proxy that works on my 10th try to get around dumbass GEMA rules in Germany) I must say I really really like this! I already enjoyed it from Live and Late Night performances, but (as I was already pretty sure of) the studio versions are 10x's better! I have high hopes for the studio version of 'Yfirbord'

if its any help to anybody, my In Utero Euro press with 320 in the wax, has a Big Red 'Back-To-Black 60th Anniversary' sticker on the front, and the small credit/details on the back right bottom has 'Made In The Eu' after the DGC and other rights Info,.,,,

^^this - it's my understanding that it was an error they accidentally used the Albini mix, yet did not correct the mistake, so that particular Euro press remains the Albini mix.

I got a message from Amazon de that they couldn't fulfill this yet, and would I like to cancel, I took it as implying I should probably cancel. I decided to hold off, and then a few days later, got a shipping confirmation. I expect it tomorrow. I got it for way cheaper than what it is on the site now. They removed the original listing and put a new page up at higher cost... so I think they may have tried to get me to cancel so I would re-order at the new price.. or maybe I am paranoid. Either way, i have one arriving soon, and super excited.. have held off listening to it on cd or ipod for the last few weeks in anticipation.... though certain songs have been running through my head... i also kind of wish I would have looked around a bit better and taken the advice at checking a few other online shops, I see the numbered/colored version is available for not much in some German shops... but oh, well..

hmm, since is this somewhat resurrected. Turns out I pre-ordered this from the official site back when it was announced. It was shipped to me in the US, though it appears to have came from the UK. I was surprised when I traveled back home and saw the package and *remembered* I had pre-ordered after having been that whole time period in Germany. In the meantime I had bought a version from Amazon de while in Germany (and this is the one I opened and have been playing, which is on black vinyl and here with me now still in Germany). Anyway, when back over the last year, I filed away the other I received from the pre-order into my record closet and never though much about it. Now back in Germany (with my black version) I can't help but suddenly wonder if I have have a CLEAR version in my closet back home.. so for those experts.. If i pre ordered it from the Official Sigur Ros website, and it shipped out from the Uk, do I likely have a black or clear version? Problem is since I had forgotten I pre-ordered, I also don;t remember if there was the option for ordering clear or black at the time. (sorry I wrote an essay for such a simple question...)

well, Amazon (germany and uk at least) does have a holding page for it. Dont know if it will ever actually go active, but they do have a page for the 2lp + 10in version.

I can't believe anybody would get anywhere near 150 for F.P.! I would like to see an auction or two to get a better idea. exactly! limited to 500 makes a big difference compared to limited to 10.000... so the POINT, is how hard is it going to be to come across a supposedly limited release. You could be one of the dupes paying triple digits for a record that is not going to be that hard to come by, just because it's stamped with limited or someone (purposely or mistakenly) listed it as limited to 200 instead of 2000. damn right I want to know what something is limited to if I want it, especially I will have to pick it up on the secondary market. what better place to ask then, hmm... a collective of vinyl enthusiasts.... ... that being said.. Where are you at in Germany? I am in Munich and that is pretty much the only release I am going for.... I would probably pay the extra, what 14 - 16? euros shipping from Italy to be assured I got one... as it is, I will be there in line... just not sure how early to go, or which shop is mostly likely to get good releases as this will be my first year here.. I asked in Optimal the other day they said they wouldn't know what they got until they recieved their stuff.... I

Son of a F%(%!! That is EXACTLY why I hate RSD! If it were possible to tell who doesn't have it garunteed in hand and might not actually come through with a sale because they couldnt get it at release, I would buy all their shit up just to ding them for negative feedback (That unforuntatley is the about the minium you can really do ... serious tears at this b.s.!) What would be just as, if not worse, would be if those are shop owners who are not even going to offer that stock to people in store on RSD! That runs me through a mixture of emotions, and I am not even in the U.S. to particpate there this year! Such B.S.!!
