  1. My not so sob story - woke up in time to see the 6131 sold out and went to order the Matador splatter on my phone. I didn't remember my Matador password and thought I'd just order once I got to work since my password is stored on my work computer - get to work and it's sold out. So if anyone bought two splatters and is having buyer's remorse, let me know!
  2. Bumping this as I'll be in Louisville in September...does anyone have any advice on bourbon tasting on the Eastern part of the trail? Right now we're pretty much thinking Buffalo Trace, lunch at the BBQ spot there, Woodford Reserve, then Four Roses. BUT I hear Four Roses has some construction going on so we are considering swapping it out and doing Wild Turkey as our last stop instead. Oh, and coincidentally we have a reservation at MilkWood! Thinking about also going to the Garage for dinner on our second night in town.
  3. Finally! And they are a couple bucks cheaper on Bullmoose: http://www.bullmoose.com/search?q=conblon&upc=602557746815,602557746877,602557746914,602557750805,602557747058
  4. Does anyone have the Spotify presale password? If so, I'd love it if you could share it (assuming it's not user specific)
  5. Crazy to think I started this thread in December because I couldn't find Malibu on vinyl and since then there have been like 5 variants.
  6. Yeah, i'm going to wait a bit to see what the actual preorder options are - if there's a cool variant for $25-$30 I might choose that. Otherwise, $20 shipped for 2lp is pretty good
  7. I got it for £51 shipped after they took off the VAT. Think I'll stick with that for now.
  8. Boom http://www.bullmoose.com/p/25539657/matchbox-twenty-yourself-or-someone-like-you-transparent-red-vinyl
  9. £51 pounds ($66) shipped to the US vs $80 on Bullmoose. Hmmm...
  10. It's a big Go for me...I'm not big on the streaming services so listen to music from my iTunes library on my phone when I commute back and forth to work, hence the need for the mp3 version of the albums.
  11. Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of a signed photo, really wish the record sleeve or box was signed instead. I imagine sogning stacks of photos is much easier for them however.
  12. A bit of good news regarding the boxset... Dear All,We decided rather than printing Nora's pictures on newspaper, we'd print on higher quality paper because the tests came back and it simply looked 100 times better.ThanksFran Healy / Travis
  13. Pretty sure that was a box set of individual albums, unlike this which is a box set of the album plus bonus content. I'm thinking it's more like U2's Achtung Baby - only way to get the album is as part of the box, that's why I jumped on it. (I'm hoping I'm wrong, for those of you holding out)
  14. Ordered this, as it's been a white whale for ages and is one of my all time favorite albums. I think they could have done a little more with it, though...check out this Saint Etienne Foxbase Alpha box set (which I have, and it's amazing) for the same price: SAINT ETIENNE - FOXBASE ALPHA VINYL BOX SET Special Edition Box Set “And now ladies and gentlemen, what you’ve been waiting for!” Limited to just 2000 copies worldwide the box includes: * The original album remastered and cut onto two twelve inch 45rpm discs for higher fidelity, housed in an exclusive gatefold version of the original sleeve. * ‘Remains Of The Day’, an exclusive album that gathers together ten rare 'Foxbase Alpha'-era recordings from the period most of which are appearing on vinyl for the first time. * An exclusive one-sided 7” featuring the original, previously unreleased version of ‘Kiss And Make Up’, featuring ‘Only Love Can Break Your Heart’ singer Moira Lambert. * A perfect bound, 12" square, 28 page book featuring many unseen photographs and artefacts from the era, plus a new interview with Bob Stanley by the Guardian's Michael Hann. * Three 10”x 8” black and white portraits of the group. * A perforated sheet of Foxbase Alpha trading cards. * Exact reproductions of the original album press release and biography. * A digital download code for all of the music. 15. Someone asked that question on Facebook: Uri Koaz what about regular vinyl edition ? Travis Only the box set I am afraid..
  16. I actually just finished spinning it! Great soundtrack, would love for them to go back and press some songs from season 1.
  17. No One is Lost definitely grew on me - can't wait for the new Stars album!
  18. True, plus the Bullmoose points. Would have been nice to have it on release day, though.
  19. This is $33.99 at my local (1234 Go in SF) vs the $39.99 I paid from Bullmoose. That's a first! Oh well, glad that I have one on the way.
  20. I was on the fence but gave the album a listen today on Spotify and like it enough to keep it. If I were to swap I'd do something among the lines you're thinking and grab Beck or Fiona to trade down the line as they should be worth something.
