  1. I've been twice to events in San Francisco - first one (the Fugees) seemed like people were there specifically for the event, second time (Gorillaz) seems like it was mainly spillover from happy hour. Both times I won records so I definitely enjoyed it!
  2. The most recent Glen Phillips (lead singer of Toad the Wet Sprocket) album "Swallowed by the New" is getting a vinyl release. $25 plus shipping, releases on 6/23. https://squareup.com/store/glenphillips/item/pre-order-swallowed-by-the-new-vinyl
  3. Kind of surprising considering how well Carrie & Lowell sold on vinyl. It was such an amazing show, I'd love to own it on vinyl.
  4. I grabbed this Hanni El Khatib box set when it was down to $12.99 - it's a great set and a steal at that price. Keep an eye out on Amazon, the price keeps dipping then jumping back up. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MSKBV6V/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  5. Agreed - I had in my stack until I got to the cash register then decided to pass. Glad I did.
  6. Has anyone seen the Head and the Heart Stinson Beach Sessions online? Got mine at 1234 Go yesterday but looking for a friend.
  7. My friend was first in line this year and got there at 4am - way better than getting to Amoeba at midnight and being like 40th in line. Plus the people at 1234 Go are awesome
  8. No worries! After many insane RSD's at Amoeba I'm so glad 1234 Go is around for a much better experience.
  9. Not sure what you mean by numbering system, they just let people in as they were in line (minus the first person in line who got a 5 minute head start) I got there an hour before they opened and was 20-25 in line. It was super smooth. 10. Had another amazing RSD at 1234 Go in SF! Got in line at 7am, got everything I wanted and a few I didn't need. Thanks!!!
  11. 1234 Go had a ton of the Cure, definitely check online tomorrow with them.
  12. I got to 1234 Go in SF around 7am and was like 20th in line (my buddy got there at 4am and was first - he got to shop alone for five minutes and a free Wu Tang test pressing) I ended up getting everything I wanted, though am regretting a bit passing on DMB at Red Rocks. 1234 Go is so much mellower than Amoeba, will always be my default RSD shop.
  13. I found Ivy Tripp incredible but I was disappointed in her live show. Will definitely grab this.
  14. Got mine in today - it is the deluxe, and it's beautiful! What a steal at $19 shipped
  15. Oh, and Buffa's is a bar that's open 24 hours that serves food all night - probably the best 3am burger I've had. For touristy shit, Frenchman Street is so much better than Bourbon Street, basically 3-4 blocks full of bars with live music and on certain nights they have a cool little night market. A cemetery tour is also pretty great - we grabbed a mule drawn carriage pretty much across the street from Cafe du Monde. And I can't recommend Bacchanal enough - it's possibly my favorite bar in the world (and I drink a ton and love my bars)
  16. Spitfire Coffee Erin Rose for a fun dive bar (they have a great frozen Irish Coffee) Bacchanal Wine for an awesome patio / live music / cheese plates paired w wine Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop is pretty much the only bar on Bourbon Street that's not a complete shitshow The Dungeon is right off Bourbon Street and has an awesome, heavy metal dive bar feel
  17. Which ones do you need? I have them all (minus 1984) but am thinking of selling them off.
  18. Just ordered it - will let you know which version shows up! Great price for the deluxe...
  19. Good news! I tweeted at Turntable Kitchen last night and got this response: Yup! We just received the LPs and we’re shipping as fast as we can. With a little luck all copies will ship by the end of next week.
  20. This is so weird that everyone has slight variations - my copy of RTS from Bullmoose has printed inner sleeves, no sticker or download code.
