Broke down and ordered one. $49 total with shipping. Not bad.

I can't imagine why you wouldn't sell this. Obviously it's going to fetch a high price. It doesn't sound like anything worth listening to. I can't imagine it will dramatically increase in value someday. I would've sold it as well. Of course, I never would have bought it because I wouldn't have even thought to look for it.

Do you regret that decision? Hey, at least you can always say you held part of history.

I was just about to post this. I predict $5000. I wonder what the reserve is. There's an article about this on Pitchfork. With the publicity this is getting, the price is going to be high. This reminds me of when Radiohead said they were releasing one signed copy of a 12" along with King of Limbs. Did anyone ever report getting that signed 12"?

I have three of the Sparklehorse releases from Plain Recordings. Vivadixie... sounds good, as does Wonderful Life. Haven't listened to Good Morning Spider yet.

According to USPS policy, they are free to open any package shipped via media mail. The fact that you insured it for $400 might have prompted them to open it. However, after reading your whole story, I suspect some foul play.

I had this happen to me last June or July. I was browsing my local shop and found a copy of hvarf / heim. I couldn't believe it was still there several months later. Hmmm. Maybe that shop still has Agaetis.

What does everyone think of the sound on this record? Did ayone else think the bonus tracks sounded better than the original album tracks? Side D especially seemed to have a great sound to it.

I respectfully disagree with your assessment of Downward Spiral. Side A/B is way better if for no other reason than it doesn't have "Big Man with a Gun" on it.

I saw them on Amazon as well and ordered one. However, it says it's on backorder and won't be in until the 26th. This makes me think they don't actually have it. Turntable Labs is the seller, but it's fulfilled by Amazon. I contacted Turntable Labs about the order, and they told me to contact Amazon if I had any questions. I guess we'll see what happens. I'm not going to hold my breath. There are four or five more shops around here that I'm going to check with today. Someone has to have a copy in stock still, right?

I have the original pressing of Midnight Organ Fight. If you want that, I'd maybe sell it to you and pick up a copy of the repressing that's coming out in early May.

My advice: check Amazon religiously. Just pulled a copy of Blind Melon for $28!

Trying to decide if I should get Sixteen Stone. How is the sound? There are orange copies of Razorblade on Discogs. I think $13 is the cheapest.

I want this as well, but I don't want to pay the ebay prices. I think a marked-up and shipped from Canada copy would cost at least as much as the ebay sales. Prices on ebay will eventually go down. There are so many copies for sale, and they'll just keep coming. Did anyone actually buy this and want to keep it?

I really want the Blind Melon album, but the only thing I have on your wantlist is the original pressing of A Ghost is Born. I'm not going to give that up. Weren't there 2500 of these pressed? It seems that the only people who got them were ebay sellers.
