  1. Same. I already own everything except KT, so no need for me to buy this. But thanks for sharing.
  2. Why are you getting rid of all your Margot stuff? I have a white Rot Gut. Not sure I want to part with it. Great stuff on your list though.
  3. Just use the UPS three day option. $7.85 for the three LPs I am ordering.
  4. Oh no. I left off Portishead - Dummy. That would probably go to the #3 spot.
  5. Here is my best attempt. I know I will leave off something. 11. Afghan Whigs - Gentlemen 10. Hum - You'd Prefer an Astronaut 9. Sufjan Stevens - Age of Adz 8. Damien Rice - O 7. Stone Temple Pilots - Purple 6. Sigur Ros - Takk... 5. Blind Melon - Soup 4. Margot & the Nuclear so an So's - Dust of Retreat 3. The National - Trouble Will Find Me 2. Sparklehorse - Vivadixiesubmarinetransmissionplot 1. Radiohead - In Rainbows Okay, I know that's not right, but that's what I am going with. Happy to say I own all of them on vinyl except Soup and O (which was never released on vinyl).
  6. I have all of them . However, as I am tied with you for the world's biggest fan of The National, I don't think I could sell any of them
  7. Okay, maybe I was a bit extreme in my reaction. I need to listen to this again. Understand that this is an album that I've been listening to for 20 years, an album that I fell in love with in 1993, an album that has always been my favorite of Nirvana's and one of my all-time favorites. It's hard for me to get accustomed to a different version of it 20 years later. On first listen, I thought it sounded cleaner. But, I will listen more per your suggestion.
  8. I have not heard the vinyl, but I listened to the 2013 mix of the album today. I think it's terrible. Everything feels so flat. And what in the world did they do to the guitar solo on Serve the Servants? That has always been my favorite part of the album, and they completely butchered it. This mix really takes out the rawness that makes In Utero such a great album. Was the band really okay with this mix?
  9. You're better off without your TOPPS cards from the 70s. I tried to unload baseball cards recently, and it seems that no collectors will pay for anything made after the 60s. Apparently people started hanging on to them again in the 70s. Plus, ebay really screwed up card collecting.
  10. I saw him live back in 99 and his vocals were much less lazy than on the album. The first set was all classic Floyd stuff. The second set was a lot of Waters solo stuff. The crowd went apeshit for the Amused to Death tracks. It was really strange.
  11. Wish I could help you, but I sold my copy a couple months ago. It was really hard to part with it, but the price was right. Good luck!
  12. Downloading the leak now. Then I'll decide if I want to order
  13. I saw the news about the US pressing as well. I may pick it up, after hearing about sound comparisons. My original purple copy has a little skip on Big Empty, so I'd love to add a new copy to the collection.
  14. Maybe it's a big surprise and it will end up being the full album, only available on special LP about 6 weeks before the real release date. Okay, probably not.
  15. Yeah, you'd at least think that Electric Fetus would get a copy or two.
  16. Why do people bother to sell things for 1 cent on Amazon. They can't possibly turn a profit, can they?
  17. I have noticed that people are willing to spend more on Amazon because they don't want to deal with ebay.
  18. Are you only looking for the original pressing of RATM? Because the repress sounds great and is pretty cheap and easy to find.
  19. It seems like every preorder on Subpop ends up being a loser edition. I'm sure you got it.
  20. No crazy scratch off cover for the vinyl edition this time? How disappointing. Did anyone actually scratch off the Congratulations cover?
  21. New Shearwater record available for preorder. Of course there is a Sub Pop loser edition: http://www.subpop.com/releases/shearwater/full_lengths/fellow_travelers
  22. Anyone else seen this? Is it something that every record store got one copy of?
