I've seen people surf in Galveston. Depends on where at, some spots see more activity than others. They have a few shops around there and they sell boards. So I guess somewhere you can. I see a lot of people boogie boarding.

Are these organic free range natural receivers? cuz I am not buying them if they are not. 

A natural receiver grows in the woods.  Yamaha harvests them in the spring and they're sold at farmers markets from May through August.  Get yours while it's fresh.

Totally dropped out for March and April because things just got too busy. Of course just when couple of ideas I (also) suggested got in, ha! I guess these might be too late for May but perhaps to consider for future months as some are quite similar. Wording of these definitely need some editing. Some might have been used but most should be fresh meat.

I'm not vegetarian or vegan, but one of my favorite things to make for myself is something I like to call "Broke College Student Brownies." They're a lot denser than regular brownies, not unlike the consistency of those Little Debbie Cosmic Brownies (only a bit chewier), but I like them a lot. They're full of protein and fiber, the ingredients are hella cheap, and they're surprisingly not terrible.
 
What you need:
 
1 box of any kind of brownie mix. Just make sure it's for 9" x 13" baking pans.
1 standard-sized can (15oz/425g) of black beans.
(That's it. That's all you need.)
 
What you do:
 
Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the brownie mix box. Drain the black beans and refill the can all the way up to the top with water. Pour the beans into a blender or food processor and purée them so that there aren't any chunks. Mix the puréed beans together with the brownie mix in a large bowl. Pour the mix into a 9" x 13" pan (coat it with a little bit of oil so they don't stick) and bake for however long the box says to bake. Then, let 'em cool and cut 'em up! Simple as that.

I just grabbed a strawberry shortcake picture disc from 1983 in a thrift store,that's pretty strange for me but I just couldn't help it.

Be warned, I'm a couple of beers into the evening and may ramble. So here goes. 
 
I just want to say thanks to all here in the VC boards and community. Usually discussions on the main board don't go too much beyond that particular release or record on hand. Yes, sometimes it does get off-track with some shit-talking and insult-slinging, but that gets rectified. Plenty of info and fandom gets talked about and discussed. Whatever else doesn't fit that mold gets handled and talked in the Everything Else board. 
 
But at the end of the end, it's the general sense of community and camaraderie that permeates VC and the boards that always keeps me going here. A few of you do tend to be a pain in the ass but all part of this wacky group of lovers of music and the record/vinyl/rekkidz format that has brought us together. 
 
I know that as personally speaking, I've made some great friendships in real life thanks to VC. I am always thankful for that. Some of these people I can easily call friends for life and have shared great experiences with. It's one of the many great things that VC and the boards have provided for me. And as someone as jaded and old as I am, that's saying a lot!
 
I'm blabbering at the mouth so far about this this stuff because in all the years of Record Store Day, I've always seen and experiences a greater sense and level of community and selflessness. VC and record nerds helping each other out at any given moment. You missed that one RSD release you really wanted? Someone is willing to step up and look at their store and help you out. You're at the store and although you're into that one release but a copy is there, you snag it anyways because you know someone on VC is looking for it. And you hook that person up.
 
That's the kind of shit that goes down and love about this place. Hell, it even happens when pre-orders go up and VCers look out for each other in case someone may be missing out. I know I've gotten text messages in the middle of the night to let me know that a PO went up so I can snag that rarer color and whatnot.
 
So thanks, VC. All of y'all. Thank you for keeping the POSI around here and always keeping the heart of the community in its place.

Sweet Pea came from my moms old work. They were mean to her (not changing her litter,  running her over with carts and closing off her litter box). When my mom left there, one of her coworkers asked her to take her home. She spent the first week in our house under my bed and would only come out if I was right there. Now she's outgoing and always runs to the door when the doorbells rings. Sometimes we call her little braveheart.

 
Benny is my little man. He's watching over my shoulder as I type this. He is the most talkative but also the sweetest. He likes to be held and sung to. We got him and Jack from a friend who couldn't take them when he moved. At first the two boys were outside cats, until Benny got caught in a trap my neighbor set. 
 
Jack is the oldest and biggest. He doesn't get along with Sweet Pea because she chases him around the house. For the most part he can be sweet, but he has a tendency to go a little crazy. He prefers if he's the only cat awake, so he can have all the attention. Also he enjoys watching Transformers, Westerns and Basketball Games
