and honestly, to put the whole thing to rest I made a new account because I really like buying/trading records on here and I didn't want the 170 something negative votes to hurt me being able to buy things. At least y'all can appreciate the username. i won't get involved with anything anymore though. I'm sorry.

Unless they take out all the records you ordered and put in records that you didnt order (which they havent done to anyone else yet) I dont see why you wouldnt be happy with what YOU ordered.
 
And yes you are a moron. You constantly start shit, have a holier than thou attitude, and more importantly, see that a companies sale blew up and was taking longer than expected to ship orders, then order at that point and complain after two days that you havent gotten shipping confirmation yet. That is pretty much what a moron does.

This thread embodies the entitlement society. What a bunch of babies. If our generation had to fight WWII, our children would be speaking German.

I work in a record store, and it's really hard not to give into the thought "hey I could use this for my collection" whenever someone brings in some stuff to sell or trade. It's also not too busy most days that I am at work, so it's pretty easy to browse here for POs and good deals while I am working..and spend more money than I am making in a day.

Thank god, I know the only reason I checked this thread was to see if you got your confirmation.

If I'm reading a message board devoted to records and I'm reading a thread about a sale at a vendor, a helpful post would say something like "Hey, this vendor has a lot of cheap records, but I don't agree with the way they handle their shipping department. They've filled the orders out of place which has possibly led to me missing out on some releases. If this sort of thing bothers you, you may want to skip ordering from this vendor". This comes across as a much more intelligent comment instead of talking about being all hurt up in your ass about not getting everything you've ordered. Ever hear the saying, "You get what you pay for"?
In a perfect world, all online ordering sites would have real time inventory instead of taking the records out of stock when the order gets filled. Unfortunately that isn't the case. I'm following this thread because it's fun to see what gems people can find in an online bargain bin. I've now placed 4 orders, and even if I don't get everything, I'll still be getting a great deal. Free shipping. Cheap records that I've wanted to own, and a refund for what I don't get. The way I look at it, I'm not entitled, and if I happen to get lucky on a couple of records, then cool.
TLDR: You can't always get what you wanted. Learn to deal with it and you'll be less disappointed with life.

Just got my order. Really upset. I was one of the first people to place an order on the first day and I only got one of the 6 LPs I ordered.

This is stupid. lahispute stepped away from the boards in "honor" or whatever of people being annoyed with her and now she is getting crapped on for no reason. I know it's the internet (so who really cares) but this is just so lame. Some of you obviously have nothing better to do with your time. Some people have a hard time staying on the boards as newbies because certain people think they are inclined to a respect or commonality because they have however many posts or have been on the boards for so many years. I think you should find a girlfriend that shares your interest, or at the very least, doesn't get super pissed about it. 

Some of you guys are really miserable people. Mark/Oldies isn't out to rip you off. 

Got my order in. 2/3, not bad. But instead of a $9.99 credit they charged me for shipping so it's only $3.01. Seems kinda messed up considering it said "First time buyer = Free Shipping." The old bait and switch plus I get a store credit instead of refund?
